"Tan eyes Tony Pulis"

Sun Dec 28, 2014 11:47 am

"Russell Slade is under pressure 10 weeks into his Cardiff reign and Tony Pulis tops the list as his replacement. Owner Vincent Tan,s ambition is turning up the heat- but could also be attractive to Pulis, who is also wanted by Crystal Palace following Neil Warnock,s departure yesterday"

Alan Nixon The Sun on Sunday

Cant see it, wish it was true though!

I would love Pulis but just think it's lazy journalism :(

Should have been appointed when Ole left!! I believe we'd be near the top of the table with a manager who knows how to set up a side and organise them. :bluescarf:

Pulis wouldn't touch us with a barge pole.....

He has mates still in Newport, I would guess the off field issues would need to be sorted before he would risk his reputation on us.

I agree, really knows how to set up a side, Palace last season was 4/2/3/1, in the main, and it worked a treat, what he did there was remarkable, compared to Olly before him, and Warnock after him, whoever went in after him was in a no win situation, bet Parish wishes hed kept him.

Forget Palace for a moment & look how he performed & set a relatively small club like Stoke up for many years.
There's no guarantee's in football but he's as close as you can get to sorting out the team IMO.

Pullis wanted the Cardiff job and probably still does

Not a chance Slade will go yet though as its Tans via Roeders choice . That would mean Tan ,s reputation on recruiting a dud would take a bashing

Bit a wild statement but if we don't get a result today I can see Slade's position coming under serious threat.

He seems like a decent guy but out of his depth with us.

Can't see that ever happening because Pullis would not be Tans Bitch no matter how much he pays him.

Yes Nucs I agree, Pulis would want full control of football matters, if Tan could see it, it would be good for him and the club, as Pulis has no time for billy big time type players. Pulis to tan, return club to blue, let me get my own staff in, and a few players and we will go up this or next season, and you will become a hero, Tan, no chance Tony its my way or the highway, Tony fook you then, addious amego :bluescarf:

Gives us hope. Then we realise its a crock of shit bit of journalism, when it says the possibility of him going back to palace. No chance of either.

Pulis was in the same hotel as Tan in Malaysia when we were without a manager, but Tan didn't approach him?
Probably prove to be one of Vinny's biggest EVER business cock ups, cos HIS MAN Russell ain't doing too well!!!!!

Premiership manager of the year who was interested in taking the job but not even considered by vincent tan.
You couldnt make it up really what a clueless f*cking wanker of an owner we have got.

Tan will NOT sign pullis. Pullis would become a fan idol, he's exactly what we need and want. He would become a malky type figure to the fans but tan wants a puppet not a leader im afraid.

Probably a complete load of bollox - but would be a great coup for Tan

That's why I can't see Pulis coming here, he will want 100% control and Tan won't give it to him. Think he will go to Newcastle
