" ANSWERS TO VINCENT TAN'S XMAS DAY STATEMENT "

Sat Dec 27, 2014 4:53 pm

Carl Curtis, " Cardiff City fans are up for the battle and will not stand down. We will continue to fight for the restoration of our identity.

Vincent Tan says he has kept his side of the bargain regarding his investment over the rebranding, but I clearly remember it being stated that once the Langston loan notes were settled the debt to Vincent Tan would be turned into equity. That still has not happened."

There is a dogmatic stand-off, the two parties utterly divided, and even the persuasive powers of the legendary American diplomat Henry Kissinger would struggle to find a compromise solution.

Tan is the most influential person at Cardiff City FC. His money talks. What he says goes, hence the red shirts.

But the fans are the most important people involved with any football club. Bluebirds followers were there way before Tan became involved and will be way after he has gone, whenever that may be.

This issue, for them, goes beyond the football on the field of play against Watford. It is, in their eyes, about the club’s identity being restored and they won’t relax until their team runs out in blue again.

It is against that backdrop that Slade must send his team into Cardiff City Stadium battle against Watford, hoping to put an end to a woeful run which has seen his Bluebirds take just two points out of the last possible 12 on offer.

Expect the ‘We’re Cardiff City, We’ll Always Be Blue’ chant to be sung with the most gusto yet this season when 19 minutes and 27 seconds are shown on the stadium clock during the clash with the Hornets.

So did Wayne Nash and Allan Whitley tell Vincent Tan everything that really happened in those two meetings? ? ?

Plus Tan knows we have demonstrated since May 2012 and he knows that because Ive chatted with him for 3hrs.

Plus he has seen the BLUE protests under Malky Mackay in the promotion season and in the Premier League under Malky and Ole :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

In my report for CCMB dated 08/05/2012, I wrote:

"A straw poll of the thirteen supporters present was conducted on the subject of the changes to the club's colours and badge. One was in favour; two were indifferent, while the remainder were opposed and in some cases very strongly opposed. However, it was acknowledged by all present that the views of those attending the meeting were not necessarily representative of the fanbase as a whole."

I further clarified that point in a blog piece I wrote on 03/06/2012:

"Towards the end of the meeting on 8 May, a straw poll of the thirteen fans in attendance was held on the subject of the re-branding. This poll was conducted by club officials on the clear understanding of all present that the opinions being expressed were personal and in no way representative of the membership of the Cardiff City Supporters’ Club, the Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust, the Cardiff City Away Travel Group or the club’s wider fanbase."

What was his departing gesture to you Annis? " There will be a red revolution".

That will be something he will regret saying.

Everything about our club stinks......

Countless people I've spoken to are not renewing season tkts. Many are not bothering to turn up now even with season tkts.

We need an overhaul on and off the field. Starting with tan and slade. Off the field issues ave now spilt onto the field with his baffling appointment in slade and young. Creative players being given the boot, hoofball and under performing players constantly getting picked. Same system and tactics applied every game. It's worse than doom and gloom.

" We can't do this by ourselves, Tan took something perfect and he painted it red"

I seen what tan said in this interview and to claim he has stuck to his side of the deal made me spit coffee out yet 99% of fans went along with this rebrand crap for a " debt to equity " promise. The mans a nutjob and clearly only sees one thing ...HIS WAY :bluescarf:
