Watford tomorrow disinterest?

Sat Dec 27, 2014 11:14 am

Should be looking forward to a good day out down the city tomorrow over the festive period against watford..

However with all the shit going on at the club at the moment i am really thinking of giving it a miss tomorrow when usually no matter what position in the league we were i would be busting to get down there tomorrow and supporting the bluebirds, but for me i am at breaking point because tomorrow i will not feel like i am watching the bluebirds i know but it will be watching a joking red franchise club, do i really want to go down and line vincent tans pockets the man who clearly couldnt give a f**k about me or every other cardiff city fan and is so brazen and spitefull in showing us this? Added to that the shit football being served up by tans puppet slade is it really worth the money and effort going down?

Do any other city fans feel like this and just wondering if anyone else is feeling disinterested about watford tomorrow and not gonna bother going?

Followed city all my life 48yrs through thick and thin.
Just can't be arsed any more the man Tan has ripped the guts out of our club.
The numb nut could have been a hero ...
Accepted the rebrand reluctantly for promotion to the promised land for once in my life.
Now i regret it big time.
Would give any thing to witness a team with pride and passion playing in blue.
Didnt matter if we won or not as long as the bluebirds gave 100%

Absolutely looking forward to the game. Couple of pints first in Canton. Last day of festive break for me will be making the most of it. Hopefully will see a decent game and see City get 3 points. If it' s crap and we lose, well seen loads of them over the years. You have to accept the winning and the losing!

Its all part of the rollercoaster ride of supporting your local team. Still much better than watching Chelsea or man utd on tv

Just about can be bothered to drive from Essex tomorrow.

I'll take the wins and losses, but not when we are playing like a crock of sh1te with a manager who is out of his depth.

ST holder so will be there. If i wasn't, then no I wouldn't. Blind loyalty isn't going to serve our club as we identify with it :bluescarf:

Some fan??!!! Are you mentally challenged or something? Fans are not doing this lightly you know. It takes a lot to walk away from your team. There are fans that have been going for decades that just cannot put up with the crap from tan anymore. Don't you get it? Surely you're not that thick are you?

I never thought I would ever feel so disillusioned about the city. After following them from the dizzy heights of bottom of div 4 to the premier league VT has made our club a complete joke,it's weird that I don't care if we win or lose anymore,if I wasn't a season ticket holder I wouldn't go. But I am going today and I am going to be more anti tan than I've ever been, let's be loud and get the message across FOFF tan

Disinterested??? Never. Frustrated & apathetic? Yes.

You never loose the bug, & you always keep in touch, even if its just listening in on the radio, or simply just looking out for our results in the media.

These are testing times, & what must be done, will be done. The Long & Winding Road!

About right.

Always recall when I first left the country I use to tune into BBC World if I could get it. We were in the dungeon league and you were lucky to hear the result besides knowing what's going on. Today with the media and internet it sometimes feels you are there when you definitely not.

That is spot on. Like everybody else i suppose i know a few who stopped going straight away but they still look out for our results, listen like you stated. I would say this period is the worst I can remember and can understand the general negativity surrounding the match day experience. Today I will be the only one going down out of my group 3 years ago or more this game would have been a full car or down on the train and a good day made around the game. I hope something can be done to stem the tide of bad feeling oozing from our club before its to late. :bluescarf:

I haven't bothered today and I never thought I would ever feel like this. I will forever hate Tan for making me feel this way. I have previously struggled to games with the flu, doing whatever it takes to be there. Today, I woke up, didn't quite feel 100%, so I went back to bed. I then finally woke up at 12.30 and I couldn't be bothered to make the effort. Seeing us play in white at Bournemouth followed by Tan's latest statement has really got to me on top of all the other nonsense we've had to suffer. I only kept going because I thought wearing blue, holding up my blue scarf and taking part in blue protests would at least keep the tradition of our club alive. But Tan's latest statement confirms he doesn't care and none of it will make a difference, so my next step is to stop going and follow the "no blue no renew" campaign.

I never thought I would ever not feel bothered about watching my team. How sad Tan has made myself and thousands of others feel this way. I should be there now supporting my team. But for the first time, I don't feel that bothered about being there anymore, all because of one man. I will forever hate Vincent Tan for sucking all the passion and emotion out of me that I once had watching my club with his ridiculous rebrand, ridiculous antics and his total disrespect to our club, our fans and our identity. I will forever hate Tan for making me not feel bothered about wanting to watch my team today. The sooner he buggers off along with his fellow Malaysian yes men, the better. I want my club back and I want the passion and emotional connection I once had to come back, whatever the level. :(
