A forum for all things Cardiff City
Sat Dec 27, 2014 8:26 am
Cardiff City manager Slade is out of his depth and some of his players unhappy with training methods saying they are something out of the DARK AGES.
It's official Vincent Tan has no heart doesn't care 4 the fans, will be making their life hell while he is still in charge. Doing it his way. I have been told that he's lost interest in Cardiff and it's just about running the club into the ground. Doing things from now on the cheap, one of our new signing in January will be the veteran Dean Cox.
He has taking our beautiful club and destroyed it into pieces and there is nothing we can do because if we protest on a big scale he will sell our best players and stop paying the bills and Cardiff will go into administration. It could have been so much different if he listened to the people that have Cardiff City in their heart and have blue blood running through their veins by changing us back to blue. He would have filled the stadium and the club would have made a lot more revenue and be making a profit by now.
He (Tan) is such a stubborn man, says he's a business man but a good business man would have seized the opportunity and the club would be on the up, Instead of our club being on a downward spiral,a club with no heritage and he's taken the fun factor away as watching Cardiff City isn't fun and it doesn't help having a clueless manager playing I think the worse football I have seen supporting Cardiff.
Tan driving the fans away and all he is doing is trying to unstablise the club by Turning the fans against each other. He doesn't care he think other people will come and buy a ticket then he is sadly mistaken. It time to take a stand and stand up to the dictator Mr Emperor Tan before it gets too late and while we still have some sort of club left. What have we as fans got to lose nothing as he has already taking everything we have loved away. We have given him chance after chance, Which has fallen on deaf ears so let's all do our best and start up our own coup and take back our club and restore it to its greatness. If that means playing games at home in empty stadiums then we have to do it and come up with a plan, other clubs have protested on a big stage and have succeed, we at Cardiff have come up with the right option for our club yet, so let's all out our heads together before we have no club to support.

No amount of money could have replaced our heritage and image and think most of the glory hunter fans who wanted to see us in the premier ain't even going down the city no more.
I would be happy playing in league 1 or league 2 playing in blue etc than seeing were our club is now and I don't believe a word that tan saved us he has made our club a laughing stock and I Agree I can't wait for him to go take all the money out go into admin we will be regelated but there are people out there that would buy the club on the cheap and it can only go up then

It was never about PL football for me, just the survival and security of the club. At the time I admit I was neutral to it all, bigger things in my life to worry about. I've never bought any rebrand merchandise but comfortable supporting my team even in a red shirt. But it has been a slow burn and now I'm very much anti-Tan and I've had enough of his blatant disrespect for the fans.
Tbh I think the championship is our level and it's a great division. However not with the dire clueless football we play. I want a football identity, a style we can be proud of and back. Tan employing this current manager and coaching staff is a piss take, almost a swipe at the fans.
One thing I've said and stand by - Tan won't be here for too much longer and we will be back in blue one day. Couple of years maybe, but it will happen

tan is a businessman first and foremost. he has 'invested' £150m, and the club is not worth that.
if he runs the club on a tight budget, it makes promotion less likely, and promotion is the only way tan will ever recoup his investment, though we don't what tans plans are in terms of the budget of the club.
it will be a minor miracle if we ever do go up with the fans booing the team whenever we aren't winning. i wouldn't want to play for us at the moment, its a terrible atmosphere the fans have created at the CCS. it reminds me of steve kean at blackburn, where the fans were so concentrated on directing vitriolic abuse towards the owners and manager that they almost wanted their club to fail to get rid of them. i think the same is happening here.

Tan won't let us go into admin whilst he is here, he will lose the parachute payments....Its all about honour and money for him now. This is why demonstrations are not the answer, not going is. Next season doesn't kick off for 8 months but we will be shortly asked to commit to next season whatever league, because we are fans..... He can't have it both ways

Fans might be causing a negative atmosphere, but who is the prime cause of all the troubles? We all know the answer

yes, but i thought the fans were determined to not let tan lead them to booing their team and using matches to protest at the rebrand, hence the 19:27 minute protest, and for the rest of the game support the team?

3-0 down HT last home game, not going to applaud that! I don't boo draws or losses usually, but lack of effort and fight is boo-worthy

Absolute rubbish anybody saying they went along with it for financial security, complete and utter rubbish. Everybody with an ounce of sense knew what was coming but chose to ignore it. Look how excited people are about this "Mexican Slim" fella and stating how many billions he has. We have still learned nothing. Nothing at all.

People were promised a debt free club, which is the main reason for it being accepted! After a handful of winding up orders fresh in the mind, didn't want to see another one!

I am not buying that for a single second. He paid off every debt we have ever had, but it was transferred to him. We didn't have any impending danger as all our debts were paid off so were essentially debt free. Anybody who thought he was going to pump in £160m and just write it off, the same scenario as what eyebrows just did to us, then they either need their heads tested or used it as an excuse to enjoy the ride in total ignorance. The latter is true for most of us.

Even after the parachute payments have dried up I doubt we will go into admin.
Another 2 seasons of payment we have and by then the books will be balanced. If the books are balanced in 2 seasons he will be better selling the club on the cheap. Most of his loans will have been paid back by then.

Tan is fully accountable for this mess at CCFC....
Dont renew...... protest to get our club back ....

I'm pretty certain this ^^^^^^ is his exit strategy. He hasn't given up on football, as demonstrated by his involvement in clubs abroad, but this experiment has failed so he just wants to recoup and run imho. 2 years is a good shout unless an investor sees massive potential and pays top dollar (or top peso even).
Caution is required though. Don't cut off the head of the snake only to find it replaced by a many-headed hydra

How because as i see it a few fans chanting blue songs and marching to the ground will not change one thing just like befores attempts, hes even come out in the media and said xmas day in an interview he will not change a thing so take it up the bum basically to all city fans. Only voting with there feet will untill people realise that then we will have to put up with whatever he said about us and do whatever he wants with the club.

We knew what was coming as he told us the choice. It was about peoples attitude towards it, and which for me has changed over a period of time. Simple really
