Poor defending slade?

I thought our defending was poor for much of the second half

Bit of an odd thing to say when he chose to leave out arguably 3 of out best back 4 today. For me Manga and fabio should be certain starters especially over the plot Morrison and John and arguably with connolly who was in excellent for at cb earlier in the season.

he won't touch some players, there place in the team is sacrosanct (love that word lol) but I'm thinking he is very confused on his favourite centre back partnership.

Manga on the bench is baffling, if he's got a knock there's always Gabbs to call upon, well he's still getting paid let him do something useful like warming up and more stretching lol

I just don't get him, he loves having 3 defenders on the bench for some weird reason but when he says the defending was poor he doesn't change any of them
