I would have thought Slade's half time talk today would have been very straight forward.
"Lads, we're 1-0 up and they're down to 10 men. Just make sure you keep the ball away from them for the second half by using the extra man and when we get the chance, try to get another goal or two to put the result beyond doubt"
However, having watched that second half he can only have said:-
"Lads, whatever you do, don't string more than two passes together. Give them the ball as often as possible. Don't tackle them but let them come on to us whenever they want. Make sure they have almost all of the possession even if there are only 10 of them against 11 of you and whenever we get the ball, hit it aimlessly as far away as possible".
In virtually every game under Slade we have had far less possession than the opposition.
MESSAGE TO SLADE - goals win games and you can't score goals when you haven't got the f*cking ball!
And when you have got the ball try to keep it for more than two passes before giving it straight back to the opposition.
In forty three years of supporting Cardiff I have never seen such unattractive, ineffective, boring football as I am seeing under Slade, and that includes the Durban years and all the years in the dungeon.
Absolute bollocks!
