' SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH '
Just two points taken from a possible twelve so far this month, a home draw against lowly Rotherham, an away draw against a Charlton side this afternoon that played two thirds of the game with ten men and two defeats against Bournemouth and Brentford.
Even the most pessimistic of fans would have expected more than two points from those four games.
We have Watford home on Sunday to complete our month and year and I don't expect much from that game either.
December 6th Cardiff City 0 Rotherham 0
December 13th Bournemouth 5 Cardiff City 3
December 20th Cardiff City 2 Brentford 3
December 26th Charlton 1 Cardiff City 1
Russell Slade may very well be a honest man, he may also be a gentleman of integrity but he is not the manager to get Cardiff City promoted this season.
I have not witnessed a good performance despite our previously good results at home and this is the second time that we have played a whole second half against ten men and have lost those halves of football.
The tactics and substitutions are suspect to say the least, I questioned last week if we had a game plan under Slade as I could not see what the plan is.
Changing managers regularly is not stable for any football club and perhaps Slade can change the fortunes of the team with wheeling and dealing in the January transfer window but I have not seen any evidence in his tactics that gives me optimism that may be the case.
Even if Slade was sacked right now the problem we have at the club is having the man at the top making decisions and appointments that are not good enough for this football club, whilst Tan is the owner and more importantly the decision maker on football matters then I don't see any improvment on the pitch.

I think sacking Slade will make things worse.

have to keep with what we have maybe he will bring in players in jan to change things but doubt if be enough? at least we are not relegation candidates so nothing to lose this season, having said that only 7pnts of playoffs so anything can happen!!!

Terrible dinosaur of a manager. Wouldn't buy a used car off him nevermind let him manage a team.

What makes things worse is that the BEST players are the ones we are getting rid of.
I hope we don't end up mid January with team made up of current players with no flair, and Slades newbies from League One that also have no flair.
I do hope he surprises us.

Used car would be a 10 year old fiesta that would get us to the end of the season in the 40mph zone, but not capable of going on the motorway.

Not expecting any surprises in Jan window, I think what will come in if anything will be more of the same type of player that we seem to be sticking with now, so more shite football to look forward to.
No decent players will be interested in coming here especially now we have a cost cutting exercise in place and will not offer the good wages that were being offered to players in previous windows.

Just wondering how things could get worse?
We are in a backwards spiral and our performances have been abysmal! We are going backwards very quickly. We have been fortunate with results but as can be seen our luck does not go on for ever. Slade is very stubborn in his ways and if he does not change anything then we will not progress. He should be given time in jan to bring in his players but if things don't prove he has to go and build for next season.
If things don't change, the crowds will be at least 5,000 down on this season. Who wants to pay good money to watch our team play Sunday morning park football with the same tactics?

I have had a guts full of Tan, the rebrand, Slade and the pathetic football we are witnessing. 67 next month, a life time of supporting my one and only club and I probably will not be renewing my season ticket next season. Very sad days. Sorry City I shall miss you so much.

Considering the amount of years you've put in to supporting the City and having to put up with watching shite this season I would think the club owes you a free season next season, you must've seen more shite football than almost anyone on here over the years, I'm 62 so not far behind and I think I've witnessed some shite but also some great matches. This season's football is pretty dire I must be honest but the sad part is it's shite being played by very capable players, unlike the shite that used to get served up in the dark days by less talented players that we all knew were not very good and shite was about as good as they could manage and was what we all expected

Very true, CF64 BLUE, about the dark days of shit football, it was expected. God knows what league we would have ended up in if Slade had been in charge in those bad old days.

I recall the season we finally wet down to the dungeon league. We played Lincoln at Sincil Bank and like today found ourselves playing against 10 men. A first half sending off but we went into HT at 0-0. The second half we got that first goal early but after were put under pressure by the home team. Th guys weathered the storm, took the game to Lincoln and came away with a 4-0 victory. It should have been more but the Lincoln keeper Welshman Dave Felgate played a blinder.
The spirit the less able guys showed that day compared to our quality we are suppose to have now was in a different league, a lot higher league.
