' JUST BACK-SLADE HAS NOT GOT A CLUE '

Fri Dec 26, 2014 4:44 pm

First half, they played like we do at home, invited us on, let us have possession and of course we scored, they were timid we grew in confidence, Adeyemi made the difference. They had the player sent off and we didn't capitalise because we only have one gear, we cannot under Slade move up the gears. Second half and they made the double change, we then went into ourselves, Noone today and all season is a liability, gave the ball away for their goal, which he tends to do every game. There is no composure in the team, as hoofball reigns supreme when things get tough. City fans were awesome today, sang their hearts out and put the Valley morgue to shame. No Red, not even the old ladies were there  plenty of anti Tan songs, it will now build into him v us and is going to get very bad before it gets better, but we will come out stronger the other end :bluescarf:

My thoughts exactly. Thankfully I only had to go back to Billericay. It was a disgraceful 2nd half. Tan won't sack slade this season, we will not get in the play offs. Might as well look forward to another year in the championship next season

Russel Slade is always saying " I didn't see that coming" or " I am at a loss", well us fans have seen it coming ever since the muppets were appointed by Tan. The management team are completely clueless and should do the honourable thing and resign so that we have time to get a decent manager in to save us from relegation. The man persists with playing the same squad of players whether they play good (unlikely) or bad. The constant use of 442 and lack of possession and creativity is of major concern to me. I have been watching city since 1968 and this is the worst manager and assistant I have ever seen. and the poorest team performances ever!!!! :bluescarf:

I agree, I have followed City since 1968 and we have played poor in the past, but the current performances are abysmal and Slade is clueless. What is concerning is his inability to change a game/ formation. He is stuck in his old world and regardless whatever happens he has no plan b. Does not know what quality is if it stood in front of him. He has not had the chance to bring players in but he has had time to work with the squad.

How Slade supporters can stand up for him regardless surprises me. He has been fortunate with results but It's all in the performances, they have been very poor.

It is up to the manager to get the best out of the players. If a player falls short then he gets replaced.

I actually feel sorry for them having to take on board his tactics straight from the 1992 football tactics manual.

The old ladies in red were there. One was on Radio Wales slagging off some of the City fans who were there today. They seem a lovely pair of women, but they seem misguided on their opinions on the rebrand.

There entitled to their opinion and they're as valid as anyone else's.

They go to just about every home and away game and deserve our admiration for that alone.

I've just been reading Slade's after match comments, he said he was disappointed with our defending second half! :o
In case he & Young had forgotten, we had 3 defenders (again) on the bench!
Why not use them, especially when one has been our best performer this season?

Fair enough, I usually see them at most games but not today and also saw no body else in Red in the pubs before the game

I agree. As I said they seem lovely ladies and I admire their dedication. Don't agree or understand any fan (bar children) wearing red, but I'd never slag them off for it. Each to their own at the end of the day.

They are irrelevant Chief. So few amongst a thousand City. But when there is a photo they stick out like a sore thumb. Good support from you and the rest though :bluescarf:

Why has it taken this long to arrive at your conclusion, Leytonstoneblue?

Not saying this manager is the real deal but I can ne 2 that have definitely been worse in my time (1977). Alan Durban and Russel Osman.
