Slade point average not better than ole

Fri Dec 26, 2014 4:21 pm

Ole = 13 points in 11 games

Slade= 15 points in 12 games

Both of them got 40% of the points available. Posession stats under slade is the worst ever.

Slade has to go.
I don't go to watch the team any more. The spark has gone.
I listen to the radio/ CC player, but you don't even have to listen to the games to realise Slade needs to go.
It seemed like we were down to nine men, and Charlton had 12 outfield players according to to what I was hearing! :oops:

It was 8 from 7 under Ole and 18 from 12 under Slade, excluding Blackpool :laughing6:.

However since we have been playing home/away, which is over the last 10 games it is 12 from 10. It gives Slade the edge and enough for us to avoid relegation. However now until the end of January we have some horrific fixtures. I can see if falling well below Ole average :o . The good news is we are 19 points away from relegation safety although I think it might be touch and go there.

I dont get to many games because I live in North Wales now. However, I went to the last Ole game which was Norwich at home. The City played great football for 30 minutes and looked a potential promotion team. Sadly the second half they abject.
However, while Ole could not settle on his best 11 we now have a manager who has ignored 1/2 the squad some of whom are better than those picked. He is now busy selling some of the better players! Meanwhile City are playing some awful football. How can you win games when you cant keep possession of the football.
I have said on a seperate thread (pessimist or realist), that I cant see us getting more than 3 points in January. Then we can look at the stats and our league position.
I think we should stay up but I am worried cos you always get one or two teams that go into freefall and get relegated.

Also tbh I have assumed we will beat Colchester in the Cup. But even that is in some doubt!!
