NoBlueNoRenew

Tan wants us to do the honourable thing so if you don't support a Red Cardiff City, do the HONOURABLE thing and do not renew until the rebrand has been reversed.

whats honourable about suddenly deciding 2 and half years after we started playing in red, to not renew your season ticket? precisely what has changed since you last decided to renew your season ticket in full knowledge that we would be in red?

if you were honourable, you would have boycotted when it was first announced, or when we were promoted if you already bought the 2012 season ticket.

there is nothing honourable about boycotting because of poor performances, its deserting your club. the only other honourable reasons include things like not being able to afford it or moving away.

I will be renewing my ST when the time comes. I will continue to support the team on the field. I will continue to wear my Blue shirt and raise my Blue flag on 19:27 minutes. I will continue to stay till the final whistle and clap Cardiff City off the field as I have always done. I wont be told what to do by other fans because this is what I do.

The reality is most fans will continue to support the team and the blue, whilst reluctantly watching the team play in red. I hate the red but have continued to support the team (only missed a game in the last 5 years when physically not in the country).
Not sure what the answer is but the pressure must be kept on Tan. Lots of little things (if I can find the red scarf in the boot of the car, I might chuck it on the pitch at the next game) add up.
Tan will go eventually, and if he leaves us in a mess, his reputation (which he so covets) will be damaged.

And I will do the same when I'm down there.

As tan said in his interview today, the rebrand was one of the terms of his investment. That is, at least, true to the best of my knowledge. It was part of the deal.

When the deal was made... Hardly anybody spoke out against, we wanted his money, we wanted our club to continue playing. The percentage of nos were very small compared to all those saying yes and chanting as we rose up the table and entered the premier league

People started turning from red men to "oh, I always believed in our blue traditions" when we started losing.

I will acknowledge completely that there certainly were people at the time who spoke against the rebrand. Annis and a few others on here were well known for it. but the majority of fans said "colours for money? that's a deal Mr tan, thank you very much sir"...

When we were winning.

Wasn't long before some joker who has been on the Sherry starts abusing other fans. It is Cardiff City and I will continue to do what I want when it comes to me and my football and no fucker is going to tell me otherwise.

thats the inconvenient truth.

people are dressing up deserting the CCS from being angry at the poor football and relegation as boycotting the rebrand. they have no shame.

NoBlueNoRenew will not concern Tan and could even be what he hopes will happen as these supporters will at last be gone in his view.

He will then seek to target and attract many new supporters willing to embrace red instead, especially if he puts prices low to bring them in and uses direct and clever marketing.

The participation is already lethargic when it comes to 19.27 WABB, it will disappear altogether if many blue supporters are not even there.

As an experienced businessman, Tan will be relying on gradually changing the habits of consumers. In our case he believes it will end in the full acceptance of his red.

It is far better for people to renew and therefore guarantee supporters opposed to red will remain positioned to campaign.

Direct and regular protests is a far better way of keeping the pressure on Tan and will draw attention in the media to further embarrass him.

What deal? His deal with the board? If so, that has nothing to do with the fans. The fans never agreed to any deal. Fan base was not polled and no consultation taken at all. What deal with the fans are you talking about? :?

When the deal was made... Hardly anybody spoke out against, we wanted his money, we wanted our club to continue playing. The percentage of nos were very small compared to all those saying yes and chanting as we rose up the table and entered the premier league

Again, you go on about this deal. What deal? Hardly anybody spoke out? Well that's rubbish too - just a quick read of the minutes of meetings at the time will tell you that the vast majority of fans in the meeting were against rebrand. In fact, only one fan was opening backing it.

People started turning from red men to "oh, I always believed in our blue traditions" when we started losing.

What nonsense again. I refer you to the video on YouTube of the whole ground singing "We will always be Blue" when VT presented the Championship trophy to the fans against Bolton.

I will acknowledge completely that there certainly were people at the time who spoke against the rebrand. Annis and a few others on here were well known for it. but the majority of fans said "colours for money? that's a deal Mr tan, thank you very much sir"..

This is my thinking at the moment.

Scarfegate I held my blue scarfe up and it felt like I was in the middle of a pool of quick sinking sand. Worst experience I have felt supporting City and when someone goes on about an empty stadium I immediately think it is too much of a risk using your scenario above.

Re: NoBlueNoRenew

I can't even give away my season ticket, seriously, no one wants it out of all the City fans I know that haven't got one.

I honestly don't think that people not renewing will get replaced by newer fans, unless we get promoted but we are miles from that aswell.

I think boycotting is last chance with Tan but so many will not take action so let's hope he sells up sooner rather than later.

I am sorry for the term "jerks" rather emotional last night, but if anyone really think that this a CCFC operation at present well I am afraid they are living in la la land

Some saying on here that we excepted the red for the Cash !! But let's get this straight we was told its red or dead. If we didnt except then tw*t would not invest any more money and we would end up going bust and die. Some fans was still adamant with a no, others said yes believing to save our club from doom. Others thought Hmmm red I like that. But in the end the threats were bullshit and tw*t and his merry men of arse lickers used blackmail to get what they want. Vinny tw*t is not an honourable Man. He is a bully, most bullies use physical attributes over others,tw*t uses money to steam roller over people. He comes to our shores and destroyers what people love and he could be called a racist for that. If we did that in his country we would not get away with it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course but after this season that's it for me. I am 100% behind #nobluenorenew and that's after over 30 yes of having one. He treats us with contempt and until he has gone I wont be putting one more penny his way.

Everyone has had different tolerance levels in this saga
