It cuts both ways Mr Tan

Yes. Vincent Tan is right. He has invested huge sums of money in the club. And yes we should be grateful. But the issues is this. He promised 3 things;
1 a bigger stadium
2 much better training facilities
3 the debt changed to equity.

Many - but not all fans - accepted this by changing the colour. The problem was/is that this was sold to the public at large with humility and a sense of care and wellbeing Over a 100 years of football cannot be brushed aside. Point one has been delivered. Point 2 has not because of the opposition to planning - although it's location was always going to be met with this when other viable alternatives would have had a better chance of succeeding. It is point 3 that is the stumbling block. We, the fans, accepted the change to red on this main point as we were all concerned with the debt. So - Mr Tan cannot accept our support when HIS PROMISE has not been met. It cuts both ways! :ayatollah:

Tan had us over a barrel before. If he'd been forced out then the many creditors the club had would have put us through. Now though, the situation is very different. He's put in over £100m and faces losing most of that if he puts the club through. The bargaining position has changed.
