' Tony Pulis is ready to take the Job '

Russell Slade could be facing the man the Cardiff fans and even Pulis himself wanted as manager at Cardiff later on this season.

Newport born Tony Pulis has admitted he is willing to listen to Brighton, if they want him to be their next manager.

Pulis, runaway leader of fans' polls to replace Sami Hyypia, is currently involved in media work after quitting Crystal Palace in August.

Dorset-based Pulis, speaking on Talksport, said: "I don't want to be disrespectful to anybody. If anybody rings us then I'll talk to anybody and we'll work it out from there."

The Argus claim: "The cost of hiring Pulis could be prohibitive but a source close to the Welshman has told The Argus he is not ruling out the chance to develop a club at Championship level, rather than firefighting in the Premier League."

A great manager, a unique chance to hire the best Welsh manger missed. Very impressed with his work at Palace. Why Vincent Tan never had any ambition to get a manager like this in post Malky, we will never know I guess :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

No manager is guaranteed success in such a circus.

Mackay is the one who managed it and look how he was treated.

I'd rather give Slade more than like 2 months in charge. People are leaving so he can create his own team, so getting rid now makes no sense.

But personally I think if tan wasn't so stubborn and egotistical and we had Mackay in charge, we would be light years ahead of where we are now.

Russell Slade could buy a minimum of 50 players with 10 million at 200,000 each !

Maybe it's because a lot of clubs don't need the type of manager he is, Brighton are though?

We won't have him, Tan wouldn't pay the wages.

When you listen to the interview id be very surprised if he took the Brighton job even if it is close to home for him. Premiership teams Will soon start sacking and a premiership manager of the season will get a job.

Would love him here even if after a few months people would be moaning like mad about the style of play

Instead of giving us stability and direction when malky went tan got in slade and went backwards as a club. Pulis would of fitting us like a glove at the time but tan knows best.
Good luck to Brighton I say at least there are serious a out moving there club forward and not backwards

He would be great for Brighton, progressive club, decent crowds and a brand new stadium, give him 2 seasons and he would have them in the PL. Brighton would be a far batter option for him than our basket case of a club, we would just ruin his reputation :bluescarf:

if i were him i'd sit tight, there will be sackings in the premier league soon enough as chairmen start to panic.

brighton are in the bottom 3 of the championship. he said he'd talk to anyone, but that doesn't mean he'd take the job. i'd be very surprised if he goes there.

Well I wouldnt have thought so but I think Pulis is the type of manager to go into a bad situation and sort things out.
