' Consortium possibility to take over Cardiff City '

A businessman with connections is trying to get a consortium together to buy Vincent Tan out . Didn't call him tw*t )
I am told the first thing he would do is return us to Blue and reinstate our rightful badge with the Bluebird being the prominent image. There is an urgent need which has been identified and that is the atmosphere at the CCS and I am told the Grange end and Canton could be swapped around to help remedy this problem.
Right I do not know who it is and even if I did I am told it could put the whole thing in doubt so I wouldn't say even if I knew.
This is in the very early stages so may not even come off but it's good to hear that others could be interested.

Annis as I have just heard I would say I put it as a rumour. But as you are saying it's more than a rumour, I am now pretty confident of what I have been told to be the truth

Can you imagine if this is true...

Great news.

I just hope the grass isn't greener. I personally think our problems are a lot deeper than Tan. If this goes ahead we will see one way or another.

I do wonder what everyone will moan about then? My guess is lack of spending on players or selling our best players.

Regardless of results I would renew for next season and know at least 10 others who would start going again
fingers crossed

Knowing our luck its a consortium led by the riddler with Sam Hammam, Kumar, Clive Sullivan and Tony Clemo providing the cash.
On a serious note I hope it's true. Tan must go.

Yes, the club have thrown money at players over the past couple of seasons but now it is clear that they are trying to re coup funds whilst doing a major cost cutting exercise which could fall in place to make the club more attractive to a potential purchaser. What sort of team will we have at the end of the season? I would not like to take a guess but things are not looking good.

If we returned to our true colours & badge though, now that would be something.

Some of those were names that came to mind.

Sullivan at least has the money and would be keeping his word. Chances 1/10

Hammam I reckon still wants to come back. He loved it here and is clearly bitter about how he was hounded out. I think he still cares for City too. Whether he can raise the money or still has the desire is another thing. Chances 4/10

Borley is another one mentioned- still loves the club, but can't see him being able to raise the funds. You never know though. 2.5/10

Beyond these 3 it's difficult to see who would be interested.

I'm going to pray that whoever is behind this consortium firstly have the financial clout to interest VT and secondly tred carefully during negotiations and successfully take Cardiff City into a new era. I honestly think the skies the limit for the club in the right hands, last seasons attendances will not of gone unnoticed, not to mention the recent expansion of the stadium. We can only hope this is a possibility, keep the faith and keep it BLUE..

Maybe Jim Cadman has finally found the money he needed

Just for fun, what about 'Dalman ' ?

He won't have the funds himself, but might know those who have.
