our midfield

Does anybody else agree with me that our midfield is a problem and needs change. For me whittingham and gunnarson are underperforming massively, both way too slow and need a good kick up the arse because they just stroll about the pitch like their the dogs bollocks without a care in the world. I hope slade sorts this out in january.

They have been under performing since ole was here. Massive weak link and both are awful in a 442,

I feel sorry for them, they know they have to do the job of 3 players on the opposing team, they get run ragged but Slade can't see it.

I know ive thought exactly the same. I cant for the life of me understand how they keep being picked week in week out. Unbelievable, and same goes for le fondre how he keeps being picked is shocking when the amount of chances hes missing constantly.

I've said this before, we need a central midfield 3 ..with 2 wide men 1 upfront

I like that, although I would play Dhaeli instead of Noone

Daehli or Kim instead of whitts for me.

yep spot on.Its basic tactics ,so frustrating

I would like to see us play similar to this... We still haven't managed more than 50% possession once under slade yet... Constantly over run in the middle..

Give the back 4 more protection, allow then for some creativity behind the striker.

With the players we currently have available...

I've always said we are short of quality midfielders. That's been the problem for many years.
