Time for a new Captain

I dont favour Slade as our manager at all. Would love to see Pulis brought in but it wont happen coz the dictator brought him in. However, whoever our gaffer is needs to be bold and take the arm band off our keeper. You cant captain from goals imo.

I agree that we need a new captain but I do not feel that we have got a good enough leader at the club to step up and take the position. I think the answer is for us to go out and buy another team's captain and then let him lead the team.

Marshall is a cracking keeper but no el capitane needs to be a team regular - that's ALF then lol

Yes, Turner could do a decent enough job as captain for us. But, I just feel that we need someone who is a couple of years older than Ben and someone who is more experienced. For the moment Turner should be captain as there is no way that Marshall should be the captain. He is a cracking keeper but I feel that he just needs to concentrate on his own performances at the moment and he shouldn't have the extra pressure of having to lead the team week in and week out. Plus, how can a goalkeeper influence a game, when he is at the other end of the pitch all the time? I just hope we can bring in a couple of leaders in January as I don't think that just signing one is enough. In an ideal world it would be great if we had at least half of the starting eleven all being leaders. But that just isn't going to happen.

Slade has the Jan transfer window to bring in new players - so if he thinks we need a new outfield captain.....

What happens marshalls confidence if you strip him of it half way through the season? Can't afford him to drop his level of consistency. Agree Big Ben should be captain, but review it end of season now
