I THINK I NEED A SEASON OFF ... MERTHYR ANYONE

Sat Dec 20, 2014 7:46 pm

i missed citys last 2 home games because i had important races to deal with and today after just 30 mins i wish i`d stayed in my warm flat in Tredegar .... i`m honestly just not enjoying anything about watching cardiff these days ... its not just the shit i`m having to watch its everything from the stewards to the lack of atmosphere to the idiotic bullshit some fans shout to the divided divisions of the supporters ... i am just not happy. infact im bored with it all and feel im just going for the sake of it all and my son .... im thinking of stepping away for one season and may pop over the hill and watch Merthyr for a season if i can talk my son into it. Anyone else thinking of doing the same thing?

my son turned to me today and asked is this the worst cardiff team you`ve ever known dad and i said no of course not. in the past we were worse than shit but the whole match day experience was always worth the travelling because it was cheap and it felt like you belonged to something special and it felt like we fans were important too .... who can remember the 2-1 home defeat against lincoln when the tannoy announcer apologized on behalf of rick wright and promised he would get us a good team? those days are just a distant memory now because the club doesnt give a feck.

We have not lost Cardiff City. What makes a club is its support. The support want the club back and want to call the Bluebirds when we score. We have a dictator who wants that removed but he is struggling to do that because of the fans.

It is still Cardiff City, but not as we've known it. We need all true bluebirds now, more than ever. Now is not the time to walk away. Why not watch Merthyr when there's no clash. That's what I do, watch Carmarthen Town in the Welsh Premier League, when City aren't playing. Went the other week,,and enjoyed it. Keeps a sense of perspective!

Shame you feel like that mate but I can relate to you.

Although our season is pretty up & down & our chairman although pretty incompetent in my opinion with regards to running a football club, he's a pretty decent chap who wants to do well for the fans, I also feel it's not the club I grew up,watching.

It sounds awful to say but I sometimes wish we were in the second division again. Best times, best people & felt like your club.

Just surrounded by happy clappers these days & spoilt brats who think we should be buying 20 players a season (the irony)

Bring back Oxford away & a shitty Tuesday night trip to Grimsby with only 3 subs :D

why is that Valleys lads are allowed to have a second local club, what about the Gwent/Torfaen lads, shall we pop along to Rodney Parade now and again ?

Agree mate. Unreal what that man has done to your club.

Thing I can't get my head round is it seems from where I'm sitting a lot of people are supporting it? I may be wrong, but I see a lot of threads / posts about infighting. That's a travesty. Sooner he goes the better. Debt or no debt.

I see you had a good day yesterday Stan plus it seems you have a bit of the luck of the Irish in you when it comes to taking video shots. :ayatollah:

It feels a dynasty away for us to be getting that feeling back at CCS at the moment.

I know what you're saying. I think the dictator will be gone, sooner rather than later.

He's a vindictive man it seems.

It's so disappointing that last season you were having a historic campaign in the Premier League and we fast forward just a few months to read apathy has kicked in. You could argue even a relegation dog fight over a 14th place finish would whet the appetite but you should have been aiming for the play offs.

I stopped going to my own City matches when we couldn't buy a goal at home under Pearce. I felt I hadn't been sufficiently entertained enough to renew a season ticket; but thankfully did! I can't see Tan changing his mind with the rebrand and he'll surely continue to sack managers at will. Hopefully the situation will resolve itself before too long. You don't deserve it.
