He could do the business and be quality if played in an advanced number 10 role but you can forget about that happening under slade.

Slade plays him as a traditional centre midfielder and whitts not good enough for this role imo, not quick enough lacks urgency and dosent get himself box to box, dosent drive forward with the ball and too slow and laxy dazy closing the opposition down.. i stick to what i say whitts is damaging to this team in a traditional 442 formation
