Personally I think the only players we will sign (if any) are league 1 Russell Slade trundlers, the days of the dictator splashing cash borrowed off himself at 7% surely must be coming to an end now, he will never win this war and will have to start cutting his losses at some point ready to Foxtrot Oscar elsewhere to upset some other bunch of mugs. Sooner the better as far as I'm concerned.

Players don't give a shit about clubs as long as the money is right, he don't have an emotional connection to our club so why would he give a shit about what's going on? If we gave him good money I bet he would come

It really isn't though is it? Why else was Slade employed instead of Pulis? Slade was much cheaper to employ and currently knows the lower leagues for bargains more than Pulis.

According to reports in Italy Cardiff City are again interested in Lazio defender Michael Ciani. The player was linked with a move to the Championship side in the last winter transfer window but a deal never materialised.
TMW have reported in the last hour that Cardiff are planning to move the Frenchman and could be looking to bring him in when the transfer reopens in the New Year. It has been claimed that talks could begin to between Cardiff and Lazio and there is a good chance this time the player will leave the Serie A side.
We covered the story in January that Norwich City and Cardiff were both close to signing Ciani, the price for the French defender was to be €2.5m. Ciani has a contract running until June 2015 and without a renewal it was likely Lazio would have been keen for an exit during that window but this never happened. It seems Cardiff are again interested in Ciani but they may face competition to sign the player from West Ham Untied. In the past few months the Premier League side have expressed an interest in
The Daily Mail reported in September that West Ham were looking to take Ciani on a season’s loan from Lazio. The Hammers missed out in getting Manchester City full back Micah Richards to Fiorentina and therefore they saw Ciani as an alternative. The deal would have been for the player to go on loan with the club with a view to a permanent transfer this summer. However like Cardiff West ham couldn’t make the deal happen and he remained in Italy.
