Vincent Tan - Troublemaker

Tue Dec 16, 2014 10:28 pm

I'm getting the growing feeling that tan isn't just simply being his usual selfish self. I think he's throwing stones at a wasps nest, purposely antagonising our fans. That way when the inevitable upsurge of dissatisfaction inevitably turns into action, he has got his way out of the club. He can point at our fans and say that we were ungrateful, that we disrespected and were rude to him.

Well lets not forget that infamous comment he made just a month after the scarfgate game v Brighton -

"But if I find they are not welcoming and rude, then maybe I will find a new buyer and go off. But if I were to sell, I'd make sure I would leave it in good hands."

What do you reckon, can we be rude enough? ;)

He's a billionaire, he can do what he wants. It seems likely he is looking for a way out of this while making us look like the villains. I reckon his reputation in Malaysia is more important to him than anything else. That's why he's keeping his distance, not visiting CCS at all, just doing the odd things to wind us up, the red seats in the new stand, the "what can the fans do" comment, the white shirt, the possibility of more red branding. Just like poking a dog with a stick.

Then, when the fans are well and truly at boiling point, he turns up at CCS for a game, gets an almighty load of abuse and he can then go with his held head high and lay the blame firmly at our door.

He'll be gone someday soon. I am so, so looking forward to it. Just wonder how much more damage he will do before he goes.

I think his plan is to make us appear ungrateful. So he can go back on his debt to equity promise
And put himself up as the good man that's been abused.
There is a pattern with him.

He divided and conquered but his time is starting to come to an end.

Can Nash go with him too. He and the other nazi sympathisers.

I think you have it all wrong.

When you fcuk up your prime project and its not going well, move onto another prime project and hand the keys over to someone else.

I doubt we see vinnie for years. Mr Choo will be given full excecutive powers to make the business run properly and break even. Tan has the wealth to let this one simmer for a decade and if we get lucky, through prudent management and a good academy he can sell and get his investment back.

This is why all the protests in the world except not going will work. The new CEO is our best hope, he is an accountant, scaring him may get us blue back. Tan will rarely publically mention us, although will still pull the strings.

Tend to agree except for the not going.

It has been banded about that ST money is £4m. That is nothing to Tan. Only the other day he said on Sky how luck he was to have just made £7m. I took that as a I don't care about ST money. Going further a lack of attendances will effect the catering outlets. Tan wants them back....think about it.
