You can picture the scene on Christmas morning.

Little Timmy opening his presents. ‘Now Timmy, we’ve got some good news and some bad news’. ‘What’s the good news Mummy?’ ‘Well, we’ve got you a Cardiff City shirt.’ ‘Oh goody! What’s the bad news?’ ‘It’s the white one.’

Just why were the Bluebirds playing in white at Bournemouth? The answer we were informed was to avoid a kit clash with the Cherries’ black and red.

That is, of course, laughable as pictures later of the likes of Ipswich playing in blue at the Goldsands Stadium soon illustrated. Were Cardiff trying to market the white kit ahead of Christmas? If so, why so coy about it? Business is business after all although I can’t see many replicas being shifted.

Many don’t like the white kit because they think Cardiff will be mistaken for arch-rivals Swansea City in it. Look, it’s easy to tell the difference, Swansea play free-flowing, attractive football and... well, you get the picture. Anyway Cardiff have had white away kits before, but that was before the rebrand by Vincent Tan. A white third kit with Cardiff playing in blue at home? No problem. But now a big problem.

Annis to have a white kit and then put the red trim red badge red Malaysia red number etc what really does stand out ? Yes that fooking red. I don't think tw*t done it to take the piss because of Swansea but he did do it to say I want my red and I will do what I want.

Tan, well what can I say there is only 1 thing u can say he as never had any respect for the club or fans in my opinion so do the right thing Tan give us a Christmas present & give us back our club & dignity

Horrible kit, just like the other two, looks cheap and tacky. And yes we have had white kits before, but with our proper badge and ofcourse with a blue trim. Not the red trim, which is clearly similar to Swansea.
What strikes me is that, obviously kit designs, colours etc are a very delicate matter amongst us divided fans. So when the design was put forward for this horrendous 3rd kit, didn't someone say.. Actually, this is a little to close to the strip of our arch rivals!

Really getting sick of the antics of this club. As much as it saddens me to see that Bluebirds for decades deciding they have finally had enough, I can understand. As this certainly isn't the same club we've all grown up supporting.
I won't be renewing my season ticket next year also. Not until there is a hint of our old club back. Sadly I can't see it happening anytime soon

I understand everyone obviously has their own opinion on events taking place at our club. But this is just mine.

The heart and the soul has left this club, and to me, it won't return until our historic colours and badge do too.

So many happy memories associated with this club, but Tan is just leaving a very bitter, unsatisfying taste and I've had enough of it.

So next year I will not be attending any games, but any protests organised I shall attend.

I knew this the day of the rebrand U-TURN so we all get the club we have been given ( whatever club that is now ) suck it up or bail out and wait for him to go otherwise carry on buying your tickets and take it up the arse dry as no amount of crying on message boards or blue chants will not solve a thing or change anything only voting with there feet will

The away colours don't interest me while our home colours are red. Words cannot describe how much I can't wait for Tan to f**k off.

I was told that the decision to play in white came from the club management and not Tan. I intend to believe that.

My question to all this is who decided to have the white 3rd kit. Was it Tan or the club? Tan I can understand as he has no respect for the fans but if this was dream't up by the club then whoever idea it was can go with Tan when he buggers off.

Why was not a yellow kit put forward at the start of the season ??

Tan has clearly taken our dislike personal and gone Ok you not like, I'll give you something to shout about when I take away the blue kit.
