Russell slade was always a strange appointment,he wouldn't have been on anyone's list to be appointed manager except for tans,be it another cost cutting exercise but he clearly ain't what we need,but sad to say after many years of supporting cardiff,I simply don't care anymore

Ogs would have got us relegated. Slade will keep us up but that's all. Jones done OK with less money but he won't take us up either, the division is more competitive than ever. Doesn't bother me as I hate the prem league to be honest but I want to see attacking exciting football and not show ourselves up by being a big club that's gone a bit shit.

I have been saying this for a while, i think we are going down.

Never wanted Dave Jones gone in the 1st place , yes he was a miserable tw*t but we played good attacking football at times , just wish he was given a decent transfer kitty , most of his signings were frees/loans or low transfer fees (whitts/mcnaughton/marshall)

As I said in a post a long while ago, Dave Jones will be on his way!

Well Thomas, I've seen enough of Slades matches to realise his football is worse than dire and has not got a clue regarding Plan B,also he has a bigger and better squad than Jones had,yet does not know how to play his players.

personally I think he had his honeymoon period it's over now . We haven't played well in any of the games. He only will pick from a squad of 18 , trying to fit square pegs into round holes (connoly LB he's a cb ffs) no plan b ignoring players with any creativity

I'd rather we did our research better before chasing a guy who has spent ALL of his career in the lower leagues and even a stint non league.

We now know why nobody at champ level has given him a shot. His cv was shit and he's insane. He has to be to keep trying the same thing over and over yet expect a different result. old fashioned dinosaur with dated tactics and formations. Poor back room staff need we go on?

I just still can't can't believe we didn't approach pullis. City fan, bags of experience and success - exactly what we were looking for. It wasn't a money thing as at palace he was on 1/3 of what ole was on here. The ONLY sensible conclusion I can come too as Vincent tan openly admitted this was his choice is that he knew pullis would become a fan idol like malky did and he didn't want that happening.

Under DJ we played a more attractive style than any manager since he departed ..in my opinion
