As i'm not an avid message board reader I may have missed something. Why did a billionaire super businessman hire a complete tosspot to manage the side? In fairness, he did do it before with Ollie. Is he the caziest bloke ever?

Tan has made a point in saying that Slade is his choice. Personally I refuse to believe tan had ever heard of him, I had to Google him. Clearly someone in his ear.

He thinks anyone can get he club promoted with his funds. That's why he could never understand why people were chanting about Malky rather than him because he was the one giving a malky the cash.
Unfortunately not everyone can promote a club no matter ow much money is behind him

Probably because everyone was giving him advice that Ole needed to pick a consistent team and stick to one formation. He then went out and found the most stubborn consistent b*stard out there who didn't know anything but one formation

It looked as though the club are doing a cost cutting exercise across the board and Slade was the cheap option.
Rather than go out and get an experienced manager at this level who would cost a lot more money it was decided that the club would take a gamble by employing a manager from the lower leagues with no experience at this level on a peanut of a wage compared to other possible candidates.
