The most talented players in our squad are nowhere to be seen and a higher profile manager with experience at the top level would know how to manage and get the best out of them.

The key to success as other teams have proved like jacks is getting the right manager in,had we got tony pulis or neil lennon in when we had the chance this team would be flying now but we have got a fuckwit owner in tan who hasent got a clue about football.

It saddens me to say it but aslong as slade is manager we are going nowhere and aslong as tan is our owner we are also going nowhere unless he can hire another good manager and leave him run the football team as he wants like malky did.

I see your point but what players is he gonna get in? I dont have much confidence in him bringing in good enough players to make a differance.

And never mind the players we have no style of play we lack creativity yet our most creative players are nowhere to be seen.
He could sort out the problems in this team without signing new players thats why i cant see january making much differance to be honest because is philosophy with parterships through the side, no plan b, the fact he continually plays underpreforming players is enough to tell me he is out of his depth and we are going nowhere january signings or not.

That is a good assesment and accurate too imo, interesting your point that slade saying everyone will get a fair chance, what complete bullshit slade, hes basically done the opposite and picked his favourites and stuck to them giving no1 else much of a look in and constantly picking players who are underperforming and not delivering the goods like le fondre whittingham and kimbo from last week

For me the defining moment was the 3 CBs on the bench, no sensible person would ever consider that nevermore a professional manager, even sadder when you think of the quality he left out to do that. He is just far to stubborn.
