ULTIMATUM TO THE STEWARDS!!

I was told this evening by one of the senior stewards that he and quite a few of the stewards sympathise with the fans and they hate harassing them.He told me that several of them have mentioned this to people in high places at the club only to be given this ultimatum "If you feel sorry for the fans then you can go and we will replace you with stewards who don't give a damn"He also said a few stewards have packed it in recently.Our stadium is one great big f**k up!!

I remember he said to Gerry from Llantrisant,just after the rebrand,if u dont like it,theres the door,that hurt Gerry.

We may not agree with it but the stewards have a job to do and you can't blame the club for getting rid of people if they aren't doing what they are told. They are hired for a reason.

The guy who told me is actually my neighbour and he tells me plenty of stuff.Next time I get shit from the stewards I will take a step back as I now know where all this shit is coming from.Totally stuffed up all the seating plans in the stadium aswell.

I thought the role of a steward was to keep fans safe and happy? Something our club is completely ignoring just to not upset one selfish man!

I've become friendly with a customer who turns out to be a steward down there for something to do on a Saturday afternoon and his words to me was 'it's like working for butler most of the time'.

Seem to recall him saying something along the lines of - the likes of the people who sit in block a are not welcome at the club . Re old a block in the grandstand . No wonder he wants you to sit down . Turn up, Sit down , shut up , f**k off

Seriously though what a sad state of affairs.
Stewards who are only allowed to please away fans. And they wonder why they have to knock out tickets for a tenner.

And thats before we talk rebrand and boring football.

A block of the grandstand produced some of the most loyal and dedicated city fans ever.They weren't just there for the big games,they were always there.For Nash to come out with that quote is pathetic,our stadium is crying out for large groups of like minded lads who want to sing and shout all game.At the moment it's all sit down and shut up whilst watching shit.
