Boring mix of pubs in the centre of town with the usual walkabout, Yates, slug and lettuce, wetherspoons type pubs. For a better night out head to Westbourne, Circo lounge, libertine are decent pubs and good curry house in the Taj Mahal. If you are here for two nights head to Ashley Cross, loads of decent pubs, Dancing Goat, the Cow, Bermuda triangle and again plenty of decent eateries.

Sounds like the gay district to me.........bet there wont be a dart board or a pool table in any of them.

Denzil, Westbourne has a Greggs and also Chez Fred, the best chippy in Dorset and top 5 in the UK and the Westbourne Pub has a pool table.

Head to The Percy Shelley in Boscombe, not too far from the ground, it's a proper characters pub even though it's a wetherspoons.

Going down there for family weekend women shopping & me & my son to the game. Looking to get down there about 12ish to enjoy a few beers and dont want to be the only 2 blue shirts in the pub
