I was in the same boat but when I looked at it, the iPhone 6 has everything that an Android system had 3/4 years ago. My advice is to shop around online, Samsung S5 I went with. Very nice phone.

Tell you what mate, if you're on EE - head into St Davids 2 store, speak with a girl called Sanna who will do you a great deal, she's fit as f**k too which helps

Htc One M8 is a superb phone. The sense overlay on android really is in my opinion the best. I have used samsung LG and some others but HTC nailed it for me. I have never had so much as a slow down on it.
If you want a big screen on a phone that runs well then I Would look at the one plus one. It has the same hardware specs as a samsung s5 more or less but costs a fraction of the price. It is only available on 4g with EE in the UK at present though. I have a chinese version from amazon which works perfectly and the battery is excellent. I installed nova launcher and run an JTC sens theme over it and really like it .. I have both phones by the way. I love apple but now I think the android hand sets have caught up and probably surpassed at much lower prices

I can recommend the Motorola g2 only £140 or less, best value phone on the market, coupled with a cheap sim only contract. Can't understand paying all that money for a iphone.

Had an iPhone for years and years and then got my Samsung s4 and felt like a mug for supporting apple. Love my Samsung and can't wait to upgrade to the s5

I'm looking at the Sony Experia compact, same size as the iPhone 6, so not as big all the new androids (which are too big for me) but right up there with all the specs and a 20mega pixel cam. Think ee quoted me £30 a month, unlimited mins and txt 5gb data

She won't, I work for ee and it's f*cking expensive regardless if you pay more per month or drop lower and pay more up front. For a phone which is a less spec than samsungs top devices, it's pretty harsh pricing.

I'm with Vodafone, had the iPhone 6 free, unltd text, unltd mins, 10GB data, free Netflix (12 months), a choice of FREE Sky Sports Mobile (sky sports 1 & 2) or FREE Spoify premium for the duration of the contract for a year for £40 a month. Was meant to be £55 a month but if you haggle a bit they give in.

My contracts up in January. Im with 02. Terrible network for me.
Im keeping the same phone (Iphone 5) and going with three on the sim only deal. £15 a month and you get all you can eat data, unlimited texts and 200 mins. Ideal for me and saves a packet.I was on a deal for 32 a month with 02 with only 1 meg of data. have to buy extra every month so have bills a minimun of 45.
My daughters om three and mrs currently ee. We all find Three the best value and signal etc so all are switching over in January
