Say 40 million is the honourable mans price. We would need probably 2 seasons running costs as working capital.
Would 20 million a season cover this once we get rid of the last few of very high earners?
That is 80 million ( before sales and merchandising etc)
15,000 season tickets at say £400 each is £6,000,000
I have talked to quite a few who would put in between £1' 000 and £5,000 into the kitty too.
I think we could get £20,000,000 together as we are now but funding really needs endorsement from big names, big businessmen, sport and TV stars etc, maybe even uk wide FST campaign. (FST- For a pledge an away fan gets free ticket when they play us in a future game at CCS)
Who would lead it?

If it became a fan owned club that would drop dramatically. We would behaving lower league players and not any of these journeymen on high wages.

Not only would a fan consortium need to find the money to buy tan out, they need access to instant cash to keep the club afloat, as i was in the line of thought that the club is still heavily self funded by Tan for running costs.
