I said at the start of the season when Ole made Marshall captain that this was a bad move.
A goalkeeper plays in an isolated position and ideally it should be a centre half or a midfielder. With that in mind I did say that I thought Manga should be captain. I still think that we need a leader in the middle of the park and that Manga or Turner should be captain. Views?

as hes the worst distributor of the ball aswell he should not be taking free kicks

barry if you mean turner for captain ,I would agree he would be better than marshall
your captain needs to be able to get in the refs ear when needed a goal keeper can not do this for a start

how many times this season has opositions captain been seen moaning and cajoleing the ref during our games and we have had no one doing the same

Marshall shouldn't have been captain, it's daft. Personally I'd have sold him I'd the reported 6-7m was offered.
People go on about a leader though, I don't think it matters as much as people make out. If Hudson of stayed would we be better off? Would he have played? Doubt it.
