I reckon no more than 8,000, if its £5 admission then maybe 10,000.

We'll get about 6,000 max. I went to the Bournemouth game in the Capitol One Cup and I've never been so bored. I'm not even enjoying the league games at the moment so there's no chance of me being a ticket for this one.

The club need to use this to reward season ticket holders and try to get a decent crowd. We know they won't!!!

They should let ST holders in for free as a gesture & charge a tenner for adults, a fiver for kids.
....... But they won't!

You would think that after the rip off prices of last year, treating the fans like shit and using their love of the club to squeeze money out of them in February, they would give us the cup games for free.

Other clubs do that don't they.

They should give 10,000 tickets away free to the schools in south wales , the tickets can only be used with a paying adult at £5 each . Would be a nice cheap little present for xmas and would guarantee a bumper crowd . If your kid comes home from school excited with a ticket saying all his friends are going it would be very hard to turn down .

That would leave around 14k available for general sale to away fans and the normal crowd which will be more than enough.

With the half season tickets going onsale it would be a great marketing exersize

Do Colchester have to agree to any pricing structure? Thought that away clubs get a percentage on FA Cup games. It would be great if we charged a fiver or something, though.

The club should be charging £10 max adult and put kids at a £1 if they do that they may get 10-12k but we all know this wont be the case.
If they charge any more than this can see it being lower than the Bournemouth crowd which is embarrassing.

Cant see Colchester bringing more than a couple of hundred long trip and not an attractive tie for them.

£10 too much especially when some teams font field a strong side.
Add on the £1.50 booking fee, £8 train fare, throw in three pints and some food and that ten quid equals thirty quid.....

Can see your point it all adds up throughout the day but i think ten pounds is resonable and be happy paying that, its your choice if you want to have 3 pints and some grub cant really ask the club to cover that for you now can you?

As for the £1.50 booking fee just pay on the gate.

Charge £5 for Adults. £2 for Children/Seniors. and as someone said earlier try and see if the club will give away 5-10K worth of tickets to schools around Cardiff, The Valleys & Bridgend get about 17k then. which would be decent.
