Cant understand the negativity being shown towards this rumoured transfer target already people saying hes shit etc..
He has got a very good goalscoring record in scotland, and i know people say the spl is a shit league and i agree but some players have come over from that league to the championship and done very well, gary hooper scored bags of goals for scunthorpe.
Ross mccormack done excellent for us and leeds.
And more recently jonny russell who is a good player doing well for top of the league derby county.
Also i remember when we were rumoured to be signing ledley from celtic everyone said then hes not good enough the spl is shite and so on yet he went to palace and had done well aswell!
Who is to say anthony stokes could do very well here too?

I know mate who do these people expect us to sign? I think our realistic market is spl league 1 or a loan from the premiership... so quite limited really id say at this present moment who we can sign, we need goals and a goalscorer stokes could be our man you never know..

well if we can't have a team of all starts, and Pulis as manager I'm going to get all my toys and throw them out of the pram.

You could be right, slade has steadied the ship but we seem to be lacking in creativity and attack so it will be interesting if slade can add players into the team in january to sort this out. Adding ravel in would be a good start, ravel playing off anthony stokes sounds pretty good mind..

CARDIFF City are reportedly attempting to prize Anthony Stokes away from Celtic with a £1.5 million offer.
The Welsh club are currently ninth in the English Championship having struggled to adapt to life in the second tier, and manager Russell Slade admitted at the weekend that they are interested in trying to improve the squad in January.
Stokes, who scored the winning goal against Motherwell on Saturday, has been the preferred option out left for Ronny Deila in the new manager’s 4-2-3-1 system.
He’s netted seven goals so far this season and with a contract not due to expire until the summer of 2016, it’ll be up to Celtic whether they want to relinquish the player.
It is understood the Glasgow club value the player higher than Cardiff’s potential offer, with Celtic wanting upwards of £2 million for the 26-year old.
Stokes began his career in English football with Arsenal. He never made the breakthrough with the Gunners, and spent a further three years struggling at Sunderland before resurrecting his career with Hibs.
