Yes, i was down CCS for Rotheram. Yes it's the first time I could afford to get down since Middlesbrough (and I won't be able to afford it again until at least February, probably later) and yes I felt bitterly disappointed. In the last year I have not been to a game and seen City win! But looking at his stats we're not exactly in danger of relegation.
Isn't it the true test of a team, when you can play badly and STILL win? As he has said himself, these are baby steps. improvement (and don't lie and say there's been no improvement since Ole) has been slow but steady. Our defence has got miles better, and now we've got a couple of clean sheets under our belt I hope there will be more.
Plus, I think we have to remember that him being a league one manager isn't somehow beneath us... we're cardiff city, not real madrid. he's a solid manager who himself said he was taking us back to basics first. Every manager (in the world) has bad games. No exceptions.
Really, I think all of this comes down to misplaced resentment due to Tan and the rebrand. Yes, that IS something that we should be pissed off about, of course it is. But to say Slade is doing badly while he's got 17 points our of 27.
It's improvement we're after, and on the whole we HAVE seen that. Now we're two (2) points off the playoffs and it's the end of the world.
if you'd asked me at the start of the season "would you be happy to play 46 games and get 25 wins 10 draws and 10 losses?" I'd probably say "yeah. why not, 85 points would do me" (and if it WAS all season att hat pace compared to Derby we would be on top of the league)
What's wrong with a little positivity? It would make a nice change.

Not really but I will still go week in week out in as that's what I've done for 30 years.

I know what you mean. Players not being paid and winding up orders. 4th division football and Albright bitter Welsh cups![]()
But I agree this year is worse as the owner, manager, colour, badge etc all seem to be working against the fans. Many fans not feeling part of the club anymore which is very sad.
