A forum for all things Cardiff City
Mon Dec 08, 2014 6:24 pm
Seems that City staff read this forum regularly, just had a phone call from a coach in the academy, who after reading the thread about ditching the Cosway Sports for next season, told me that all age groups of the academy teams are wearing last seasons Puma kits, the majority of the coaches are wearing last seasons tracksuits too.
The reason he told me was that the Cosway gear is 'garbage' and the academy are better off wearing last seasons kit than what was sent to them for this season.
Apparently all the Cosway Sports kits and tracksuits, bar a couple of coaches tracksuits who have had them since September, have been sent back and the bulk order has been cancelled, I asked if Cosway Sports are being dropped for next year and he said yes they are.

I did ask and the coach said that he had the conversation on Friday and there were a number of suppliers interested but the answer is he didn't know

Cosway Sports is utter shit. The collar on the blue away shirt is so tight and takes about 30 minutes to put on. I'm glad the club have seen SOME sense.

Why would any top brand want to supply Cardiff's kit next season when they all know they don't sell. We had the lowest shirt sales in Premier League history last season so there's no way the likes of adidas or puma would be interested in us.
Would you if you were a top sporting clothes manufacturer?

i dont think it matters about the supplier if the badge was right and the colour bring back the old style badge with a blue home top pref with a bit of yellow on it and the supplier fans will ignore simple.................

I was told yesterday by a club member of staff some first team members of staff are wearing the puma tracksuit bottoms but have a black patch over the puma sign and the cosway sports sign stuck on top of it. What a shambles.

It was always going to end badly with the Cosway tripe, Tan choosing a local unknown company to supply cheap poorly made kits to mugs at high prices.
I'm glad the kit sales have been poor, I bet Tan doesn't even give a f**k.
