“Are we the finished article? Of course we’re not. Have we got a lot of work to do? Of course we have. We need to improve in every area if we’re going to get to where we need to get.

“In terms of points, we can argue that we are on track, because we still average nearly two points a game. With still an awful lot of work and improvement to come in all areas of the pitch, maybe that’s a good sign. We’ll have to wait until the end of the season to find out.

“The most important thing is that everybody is trying to get it right and to improve. We’ve had a terrific week on the training ground, just sometimes you don’t transfer it as well as you want to from there. We’ve not done that today.”

I agree and it fucks me off a bit all we hear off slade is about trying trying trying hard work and determination. Well fair enough but you need more than that to succeed at this level, you need tactical nous,ball retention and posession,quality,talent and creativity in your team also.
Sort it out slade because we need a blend of everything above to get promoted not just trying and hard work.
