According to the Mail Online we are "showing interest" in him. Scored 7 goals this season.
Would improve the squad from what I've seen of him.

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes being lined up for £1.5m bid from Cardiff City - according to reports

As Russell Slade looks to add to his squad in January, Celtic's Anthony Stokes is reportedly the man he's looking at to fire the Bluebirds back into the promotion race.
Cardiff City are reportedly lining up a January bid for Celtic striker Anthony Stokes.
The Republic of Ireland frontman, who scored Celtic's winning goal in their 1-0 victory over Motherwell on Saturday, would cost around £1.5, according to MailOnline .
Stokes, who started out at Arsenal before spending three years at Sunderland, could be the man to spark some firepower into the Bluebirds attack to breathe life into their Premier League promotion challenge.
But Bhoys boss Ronny Deila has made Stokes a regular first team player so it would take a good offer to prise the man who signed a three year deal in October 2013, out of Parkhead.
One thing that could interest the 26-year-old is the fact he's played most of the season on the left wing and still scored seven goals.
Manager Russell Slade said after Saturday's draw with Rotherham: "If we can add a couple to the group, things will be a lot better.
‘We’re going in the right direction — but I think there’s lots of work still to be done and a lot of improvement still to come from the group that we’ve got.’
Stokes has secured three league title medals and two Scottish Cup medals, scoring 73 goals in 151 domestic appearances and two goals in Europe. He could be one of a number of January departures from Celtic, with Kris Commons, Leigh Griffiths and Beram Kayal also assessing their options.

My uncle Arthur could score 7 goals in that league and he has only got one leg.

Cardiff City are showing an interest in Celtic striker Anthony Stokes.
The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland forward has scored seven goals this season, including the winner against Motherwell on Saturday.
He has averaged just under a goal every two games during his time at Celtic and that has alerted English league clubs looking for strikers in January.

You can't be serious? He's started 2 games this season, scored in both and an assist. When he was with Scunthorpe he scored 19 with 6 assists when he was 21/22.

Can stay away if true, overweight had lots of problems everywhere he's been. Was told by Celtic manager to lose half a stone after reporting back for pre season this year.
Been arrested a few times, just trouble really

born in 1988 ! here comes Tans lucky number 8 again

We need to look at the bigger picture too. Perhaps Tan is looking drastically to reduce the wage bill and get the other top earners off our books.Bring in half a decent striker for half the wages.

To be fair, Kenny Miller scored a few important goals early in Malky's first season.

Would rather have Kris Commons

I agree 100 %. I´ve been watching a few Celtic games myself this season, and I just can´t see Stokes being any better than Le Fondre and Maynard. He is strong and direct in his playing style, but quite ineffective in front of goal. I would rather go for a more technical gifted player.

Dream on, Slade isn't keen on technically gifted players.
