Some big clubs above us built on sustained success over the years, This is why in my opinion if we ever did have a decade in the top flight we would grow in to a huge club. Some will scoff at that, but the attendances over the last few years have been built on a decent championship team and nothing more. We could also shrink quickly as well!!

I agree with the last post, the potential has always been huge, for many reasons we always seem to have come unstuck with owners. For xmas I want a new owner, for example a well run USA sports company would see us as a useful way into the Premier League and all that it brings, are you listening Santa? We will never sort out the current situation with the fans and the atmosphere on and off the field until the blue is back, however that is only one big step we need a few...!

We've only had one gate over 25k. Our lowest was 16k and Friday will even be lower. We include season ticket holders whether they attend or not. When the renewals are due soon the the club are going to finally wake up.

when we play divison one football next season then the gates will be 13k. The club are taking us for fools, they think the hardcore fans that rampaged in 97 have gone away and they've got all these new fans who will still renew, they are very mistaken. We're all still here and will voice our frustrations and hope it doesn't come too it but we're not customers like Barber says we are, he'll learn the hard way if he treats us "FANS" with contempt.

our capacity is 33k, which makes our percentage of the ground full=64% and not 77% as stated

I think we have a hard core support of about 18 thousand fans, I am impressed with Brighton as they are struggling down the bottom despite spending tens and tens of millions of pounds but still have excellent support.
Every fan has the right to their opinion but I think we have too many moaners on the forum who should get behind the team and give Russell Slade a chance, the football has not been great but results are good and it is a long season, plenty of time to improve.
