As we head for a very, very tough away day at Bournemouth at least the Bluebirds have broken the hoodoo and won on the road. The victory at Vicarage Road had some real courage about it and if Slade’s men had to ride their luck at times, and they did, then that’s the way things are away in the Championship.
But if people are wondering why Cardiff have done so poorly on the road this season then there is one simple answer, they don’t score enough goals on their travels, simple really. In nine away games Cardiff have scored six times, only Bolton have scored fewer in the whole division.
Even if they have proved reasonably solid defensively away from home with only 11 goals conceded we know that if you do not find the net you cannot win. Starting at Bournemouth the Bluebirds have to become a more attacking threat away from the Welsh capital.

What worries me is that weve now finally stopped leaking goals, but we also now hardly score.
We have scored less than most of the middle of the table upwards
