A forum for all things Cardiff City

100s of millions gone into this club and we have Russell Slade/Scott Young in charge
Its laughable really,
We have spent over a hundred million on players and player wages tans invested
big into this club and weve had huge ambitions.
Allegedly we are still a big club and Cardiff is a fantastic city with alot to offer and a growing attraction
for business franchising and events on an international scale.
Last year we had An england defender and one of the best defensive midfielders in the world we also fired out close to 10million
on a dudd striker which never the less was still a powerful and ambitious move from the club.
in terms of financial ambition we really mixed it with the big boys outside of top 4.
It disgusts me this season to see a league one washed up manager with average to fair managerial skills
with a clueless failed welsh league assistant who would struggle to run a non league side calling the shots at this potentially
massive club.
on the contrast ive seen some of the worst football this season and lack of passion effort and commitment since hammam intervened almost 15 years ago..
its embarrassing to just over a year later were getting dicked on by lowly Rotherham following an awful game v reading without an ounce of passion
where as last year we had already beat Man City, drew with utd, and everton.
Tan needs to sort this shit out and stop trying to be smart there is no cheap cost effective route back to the premiership you need quality playing and management staff and that costs money.
Is the man really that stubborn hed rather go backwards than go forwards for the sake of wanting control of foootball affairs?
Personally we deserve better than this shit football and a league one relagation manager.
Not good enough for a City like Cardiff

I was going to give my full opinion after 12 games, but I'm going to give him the 4 Xmas games as well,as I'm hoping for a massive improvement

summed it up for me, taking off a striker and putting on a midfielder, plus the timing of it, 6 minutes to go, laughable, I see that Scott Young was the one that called to Morrison to get stripped, and I did not see any conversation he had with Slade prior to that, only good thing about Saturday is that I was told there is good news on the season ticket front, now that to me means a reduction for buying early, not a price freeze

I think hes a knowledgeable manager dont get me wrong but
I don't think young has the experience or mindset of a true stand championship/premiership coach.
And in my view I think we could get better staff if we really wanted.
I think slade would make a good number two

I just wish one of the former managers would come out and say whats its really like working under Tan. There must be something in these rumours if he puts such tight controls on leaving agreements don't you think..?

Swansea appointing a manager whose never managed anyone before, then chucking him in the deep end. Look how well they're doing. Saturday was abysmal but if everyone is going to judge just on the last game we've played then that's silly. He's had a decent start. Should we beat a team like Rotherham? Yes. However, is 4 wins and 1 draw a good return on his first 5 games? Yes.

Its a decent start because weve won home games without showing top six style dominance in games
and weve been awful away.
its all well and good picking up points but to assess a whole game and compare possibilities and differences in team performance and statistics is far more important than picking up a win v a poor ten man reading or a win where really watford out performed us and deserved a few goals.
Or following on against rotherham another scary performance.
Its not a good side we have the players to be tearing sides apart
why not give kadeem harris a game hes been kept this long has talent deserves a shot just like ralls
left out two seasons for no reason wen hes upto it.
slightly off topic
but bottom line is you result lovers need to looknat the bigger picture because when things dont run lucky for us we struggle to beat any team in this league and that's a problem
