' BOURNEMOUTH BATTLE '

If Slade’s Bluebirds go to the south coast and play at Bournemouth in the same mundane manner as they did against Rotherham, then, let’s be honest, they are going to get hammered. The Cherries under Eddie Howe are in imperious form in their second Championship season, lying in third and unbeaten in a mighty ten league games, it is a stretch that incudes seven wins and three draws.

Last weekend, as the Bluebirds struggled against lowly Rotherham, Bournemouth were emerging 2-1 winners at Wolves. To say the Bluebirds are going to have to match the standards they set in their first away win of the season at Watford last time out on the road is something of an understatement.

Slade and his men are going to have to improve again on that, they are going to have to fight and scrap all the way if they are to pull off what, let’s face it, would be a real upset. The manager needs to put a bit of fire in his players’ bellies that much is for certain.

Gunnarson for Adeyemi and I would be happy if that was played at home. Away against 1 of the better teams and I think it won't take long for ALF to become isolated.

If our form and Bournemouth's firm remain the same then we could be an easy touch. 5-1 or 6-1 to B'Mouth. :?

There were similar predictions on this forum before the Watford game - a more likely score is 2-1 to Bournemouth ( in my opinion ).

I would go as follows
marshall
brayford turner Connelly (if fit ) morrison Fabio
gunnerson ralls adeymi
Morrison jones
5 3 2 or 5 3 1 1 :bluescarf:
brayford and Fabio to give us width going foreward
gunnerson holding ralls and adeymi getting foreward and holding a high line
Morrison free role behind jones :bluescarf:
