Bloody well ruined

Sun Dec 07, 2014 11:16 pm

My weekend - both the result and the performance. I have worked hard this week like many supporters and have spent a lot of money supporting my team home and away. Therefore, as a bare minimum I expect my team to give 100% and entertain. Those players did not do that. And Slade can stop talking shit about another clean sheet. If you had a poor meal you would expect not to pay for it or a damaged good from a shop. Whilst it is a result industry and it is difficult to get the balance - after training all week you would expect a form of industry from the players and entertain the public. So yes - I am fed up. A golden opportunity lost knowing we will lose against Bournemouth and fall further down the table. Thanks a bundle boys!

you go to a different restaurant or shop next time, thats what you do.

football is different, a true fan will keep going back as its not purely about entertainment value, thats the difference (unless for health / financial etc reasons)

I disagree.

No entertainment no joy!

I don't want to watch another team. I want my team to try MUCH harder, every week.

You can post the sound bites like "Results industry" but essentially it's a game. Every game is different. Sure, some games are better than others and some teams more consistent and skilful than others, But if you turn up expecting a certain standard or you know how a game will pan out then you are disillusioned.

i don't think that performance was down to trying much harder, it was a lack of chemistry and quality.

if you go to a football match demanding to be entertained, football doesn't work like that, it could be a bore draw, or we could get smashed 3-0. there are much better ways to spend your money getting entertained, maybe watching non premier league football isn't for you.

if we had won on saturday nobody would have moaned we was'nt great against reading but there was no booing the players tried their best but you have to give some credit to rotherham they were the better team on the day you could see the way noone pushed their manager out of the way to get the ball how frustrated the players were they are not robots it was just one of those days when the team had a bad day
