A drug habit, yes, but at the end of the price freeze a significant rise will make me think is it worth it? I struggle to find the money for the frozen price, another ton on top and I will probably politely decline for the first time I'm 30yrs.

Me and my son are out. After 23 years the last 2 years is the only time I have not enjoyed. I gave the rebrand a chance but fact is for.me it's no longer cardiff city anymore. The atmosphere is so bad now I wonder if we will ever get it back like we used too even if we reverse the rebrand. Away games in blue for me next season. Home games are no longer enjoyable.

I decided not to renew after scafegate. As far as I was concerned that night the fans had sold out. BU was born and they restored my faith in getting back to blue or at least there was some sort of effort by the fans.
TBH even if Tan restored the blue next season I doubt I would get a ST. For me it would take a new owner and then they would need to show passion to our traditions before I would consider.

I'm renewing.....because I support Cardiff City

I'm renewing. Can't imagine my Saturdays without watching Cardiff City with my dad.
Mon Dec 08, 2014 5:54 am
There will be no price freeze, but the season ticket prices will be reduced, that is if you buy early
Mon Dec 08, 2014 7:17 am
Out of 6 of us that have been going down for years and years only 2 of us will be next year. Almost £1000 for me and my son next season, really had enough, bit by bit it's worn me down and im ready to thow in the towel.

Renewing, but I do wonder why sometimes, probably after watching City for 30 yrs, its hard not to watch them ad I used to go to ninian park in the low attendance days but this rebrand etc is now not the club i would associate with Cardiff City.

I am not renewing next season. Tan uses the returning season ticket sales as a validation that its only a noisy minority that are not behind him 100%.
I miss 4/5 games a year through work or holidays and i will go to the games I can, but the rescheduling my life around a fixture list can be put on hold for a season or two.
I never had a season ticket at NP

Did not renew this season even though me and my partner were on price freeze.
Hope to see you all again when we have our identity back. Enough said no to red

I didn't renew this season after the price went up by £140 I think it was.
I also miss 4-5 games a season so I've bought a gold membership so the tickets become much cheaper. I go to every game I can make & have tickets for Brentford & Watford. If the football continues as it has been I will not be wasting my money for a while after these games.
I don't mind hard earned, scrappy, shitty draws. That's not my point. But I do like some entertainment, fight & passion. The players don't seem to give a shite & are taking us as mugs.

after 47 years and a 300 mile round trip from Milton Keynes it wouldn't occur to me not to

i just find it strange that you give up your free time to moderate and post on a cardiff city forum. why discuss the cardiff matches that you boycotted on here if you feel that way?
i feel similar feelings to you, but i'll always renew. sadly, the fact there are enough like me sustains tan!

Well I've not quite boycotted.
In a way I'm sitting on a fence. if ever I see another red scarfe day that will be me finished. At the moment I believe the fan base do not want the red and while that is the case I will continue to go when I can. However I'm not going to commit myself to an ST until I know we are back to blue and I'm comfortable with the situation.

Sadly my two boys (12 & 10) have lost their enthusiasm to attend (after 6 years of them having season tickets). They are not that bothered now and can take or leave it, which for the first time in years is exactly how I'm feeling. They have picked up on the general malaise that's set in and there is nothing to get them excited like there used to be.
The games and crowd are now passionless, and the quality of footbal has been dire for over 2 years. Everything that has happened can be attributed to fans feeling more and more detached from the club and this is feeding through to the players who also now look disinterested and disheartened.
It's a shame that unless something changes quickly (back to blue is the only thing that will reignite the fire in the stadium and fans), then I won't be able to enjoy the shared experience of going to football with my sons each week in future.
I can't justify paying the increased season ticket prices next year, when I'll probably have to force myself and boys to attend and then not enjoy the experience each week. It's not as if you won't be able to pick and choose the games next year and be able to find a seat pretty much anywhere you want. and when attendnces plummet, there will be special offers most weeks any way.
This is not about lacking any dedication to Cardiff City, this is just a result of Cardiff City pushing us fans away. Even though I was born and grew up in Kent, when I moved to Cardiff in 1989 I was always of the opinion you should support your local team and I fell in love with watching the City. I/we used to love the camaraderie and the buzz, but that's all faded in recent years.
I can see season ticket sales dropping well below 10k next year with average attendences dropping by 4-5k, unless of course they get promoted and even then I believe many fans would still be disenfranchised.
More and more of the people sat around me each week are drifting away and I know many won't be renewing next year, which is very sad when many of them attend with their children.
We are rapidly losing the next generation of fans, which the club worked so hard to get through the gates in the first place.

I wont be. (most likely the 3 of us who go together wont be)
Mon Dec 08, 2014 3:13 pm
I will not be renewing, I have had a season ticket for 12 years since I started working and could afford to buy one.
I'm in the canton stand and got a few songs going on the weekend but people just don't want to know anymore!!
Going down the City has become a chore rather than an enjoyable experience. As I have started to get into golf over the last few years I think that my season ticket money will be better spent down the golf course than putting it in the pocket of over payed players and an owner who don't give a shit about the fans
For me though it's not just the City but football in general. I can't remember the last time I watched MOTD. I just think football in general has become shite to watch
Mon Dec 08, 2014 4:50 pm
With my price freeze ending, Thinking like this may be my last season ticket until we return to blue.
I am currently only using it for a social thing to meet up with the very few City mates I have left who still go. Most of my gang stopped when the rebrand kicked in. Last season was actually worse than this one for me, and it was dream of mine to see City in the Prem, on MOTD in red with that badge, killed me. I will if i dont renew, however do more aways next season with the money saved and cherry pick the games where we wear blue. I will always be a Cardiff City fanatic, and it will be upsetting to not renew, but its my own little statement of intent against the rebrand in the hope that many others will join me. I should have done it in year one of the rebrand but couldn't give up the drug that is CCFC, I almost stopped halfway through last season, even with those great results Man City, Man U etc. If my wife had a facelift and became unattractive and unrecognisable to me I would leave, bit like how i feel about my club. Red and that badge is a facelift to far for me, and with my ST price rising considerably my time is up. Following Wales has become so much more enjoyable.
If I go through with it......, but I live in hope, to be back in blue, then I won't care if we are in The League Of Wales, Season Ticket every year then!
All Vincent has to do is say he was badly advised and restore the colours and badge, unite the club, make us more attractive to prospective buyers, and lets kick on. Then all these threads arguments and comments will stop, and we will all be as one once again.
Tue Dec 09, 2014 1:15 pm
For me it's going to depend on the price. If I have to pay the same or more then it's a defo no from me. I'll probably just choose my games, as working some Saturday's means I do miss some now but if I'm paying for a ST and not going I will probably save some dosh by not renewing.

Only asking, I've noticed a few mods are not renewing and I just wondered what are we all going to be posting about if you are not watching the games
