Ravel Morrison 84th minute

Did he come on because of injury? Otherwise it is difficult to see how he can be expected to make a significant contribution in eight or nine minutes.

He should have replaced Jones at half time

If not an injury then it was very poor management.

Was a ridiculous time to put him on. He should have had at least 20 minutes.

At the very least!

With so much uncertainty about his future, he MUST be keen to get some performances under his belt and earn himself a place in someone else's squad ( I believe Leicester and Palace are looking at him for January?)

With a player so talented as Ravel, we should be using him now before he leaves, let him prove his worth to the scouts, then prepare for life after him.

yes he should have come on at 70 mins at the very latest. we lacked quality and composure in the final third and he offers that in spades :bluescarf:

he must be wondering why he came here when the game is crying out for him and yet still slade didnt put him on :bluescarf:

Especially as Slade has not decided if staying or going? Surely needs game time to see if he can do the stuff for us! Waste of time 10mins especially way we were playing ? :o

If we are to play good, entertaining football with plenty of passing and movement to excite the crowd we need to be playing the likes of Ravel as well as Daehli, Kimbo and Fabio. Those type of players combined with someone like Tom Lawrence do things like run, pass and move. Unfortunately most of our players just stand around and in doing so give our players no outlet for a pass. Against Rotherham it was painful watching us try to play out from the back. The lack of movement from our boys meant that Rotherham found it easy to press us. We ended up hoofing the ball forward, more often than not towards ALF instead of Kenwyne. I hope that Slade has a few tricks up his sleeve because unless he finds some pace and a few more ball players we aint going anywhere this season. In Whitts and Gunnarsson we must have the two least mobile midfielders in the league. Also, I would ditch the big man up front approach and play someone like Tom Lawrence (if he's available in January) with Alf or Joe Mason. Let's play some football FFS. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Maybe it was because the time zone Tan was in the call didn't get through quick enough hence the delayed substitution!
