With the current players or Slades use of them....
We knew they would pack the middle and stiffle Whitts- So we have two options, over them, or around them.
Over failed, playing into a very congested area.
Around them- We have a trying but out of form Nooney (how many crosses does he deliver in game ?). A non winger in Kim or even Matts. He then plays a ball playing centre half as a full back, leaving a wingback on the bench. I thought brayford was by far our most productive player.
Whitts was far too deep in the second half, Turner or Morrison with manga or Connolly, let either of them walk the ball out !!!
I believe this transfer window cements us as a solid championship club and undoes all the slow year on year improvement the club has made. Matts will be gone for a Conway type player, if by a miracle we won the playoffs, our 442 squad would be embarrassed at the next level.
Under malky our x factor was the Whitts set plays- we are not very good from free kicks or corners anymore
