The Only Positive

After the last few games the only positive is the fact that we have kept 3 clean sheets out of 4. The one goal that we did concede late on against Reading was unfortunate. We have improved defensively however how we did not concede 3/4 goals today I will never know. Luck was definitely on our side. We have picked points up however sooner or later the luck will run out. We could have easily lost the last 3 games.

Hopefully the defence can keep the clean sheets coming but we really need to pick up our performances.

I said last week I think this is what we can come to expect.

I liked the way slade went back to basics at the start, it's what we needed. Then expected him to add the quality and flair bit by bit but we seems to be getting more basic and basic until we are now at a stage where we are so basic it's not going to work. Defend and hope the quality players bail us out. Felt that's what we did today.
