This is talked about week after week and it does get a bit tedious. But you can feel the lack of excitement and no buzz underneath the stands before the game. That transpires in to the stands and coupled with other reasons it's no surprise it was again dead. I keep banging on about it but it bothers me no end that our energetic and passionate (not) youngsters make no noise at all. Why? I haven't a clue. Next week you will have die hards who are scattered all over the ground unite and you can bet it will be bouncing. Sadly this type of fan is a dying generation, many getting older and many not coming because of the rebrand. All sad but it's reality like it or not..

Loads of young fans around by me in 107 they spent most of the game looking at their phones, even when we tried getting some singing going. Curiosity got the better of me so I looked over their shoulder to see what was so interesting. League table? Latest championship scores? Latest premier league scores? Another twin towers incident?? No, FIFA ultimate team!!!!!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen I give you Modern football supporters!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest, that game was so dire today it would have been pretty difficult to create an atmosphere at any sort of venue.

I agree It's not just down to the youngsters, but for decades this is the norm up and down the country. It's always been like that, even the lad on the earlier post is in agreement. We do our bit, they need to get off their bloody iPhones and make some bloody noise

As said in the last comment I'm one of the youngsters and I agree and the boys some of my close mates have now gone as far as to all get together and call ourselves the CYS the Cardiff Youth Squad as we are the YOUTH who usually try our best to get everything going but I agree with you as well we need everyone to pull their weight both us youth to get it started with our younger voices and lungs but everyone else to join in not just stand and look at us I feel like a broken record all the time
