cardiff city are dire

Sat Dec 06, 2014 8:23 pm

and after watching the same hoof ball shit for the last 4 or 5 years, i have had enough, and on top of all the re-brand crap, its just not worth the effort and money anymore. So its time to hang up the season ticket, say thank you for the enjoyment i have had in the past supporting my club, (which was how it used to feel). goodnight as another fan says goodbye..

Will never understand it, could never walk away whatever the circumstances.

i thought that too.. but not anymore, just does not feel i belong anymore, im so sick of the red seats, red shirts, wrong badge, and the feeling of all the people around me not caring much anymore. In the past we were low in numbers but high in passion..Its all gone now. when the love goes, its best to leave

Can't disagree with that, any other walk of life including a relationship. If the love has gone the time to get out. You will be back....

I have felt similar emotions for quite a while and can totally emphasise with the O.P. personally have not enjoyed it for quite a while but still cling on to the hope that common sense will prevail and that for me is enough along with the memories and good times of times gone by.
Disappointed by today's performance and match day experience but will still be there in two weeks hoping for a win and a turnaround in our fortunes

If comes to a point where if you don't enjoy it why pay for it.
It's my last season, got better more important things to spend money on. The way the club has been shifting cheap tickets I can go to games cheaper anyway especially next season when the season tickets sales drop dramatically and offers will everywhere. At £399 it's not value to money so people paying £520 must be livid.

People have always stopped going down the City, for all sorts of reasons. First I can remember is selling Toshack.

BITD they didn't make a drama out of it. They just stopped going. Nowadays, though, they come on here, expecting tea and sympathy.

If you don't enjoy it, just don't go.

Next season it will be different though . The club have never had 10k season ticket holders locked in to a pricing scheme that allows them to watch a games for what I consider, cheap as chips . My ticket averages at something like 14 quid a game . It has almost been so cheap I haven't had to consider whether I renew or not, I just do it. If you only turn up for circa 12 games you have made your money on it. Personally think the club is in for a rude awakening if come March , we are still playing in red , with a gash badge and a dire standard of football .

Your right mate and why continue to go until end of season, if it's that much of a pain cut your losses and go shopping with the missus

Would a change back to blue and a price re structure help? It certanily wouldn't do any harm

I doubt a change back to blue will improve things if I am honest. While the team play bad it helps to take the frustrations out on the rebrand and the attitude of Tan himself. If we were top of the league I just wonder how many of us would be thinking of the blue.

For me I hate the way the club is going and has been going since Tan has decided to take an active role. Hopefully he will depart soon. How long that soon will be is my fear.

I haven;t enjoyed the football at CCS since the Beginning of last season, Man City and Man Utd games were amazing, atmosphere was phenomenal, and we played well and took great results away at the end. But then results started to drop (as expected) then the whole Malky saga, Tan being a fool in the media, ect. ect.

This season I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed one game, I've only done Fulham away so far (financial reasons) but I haven't missed a home game.

I'll keep on going because i'm clinging on to hope that Tan will leave, and maybe we'll attract some of the old fans back when we return to blue, and maybe it'll inject passion back into the stands, I don't care who we play, and I don't care what league we are in, I just want the match day experience back, which may still happen.

Here's to hoping :bluescarf:

If people are wise next season will see a dramatic drop in season tickets.

As you say Luke the club are offering cheap matchday tickets now. If we don't go up every game next season will be the same offers.

Changes can be made to improve things but I think done people use the rebrand as an excuse not to attend! Also think the atmosphere was being criticised pre rebrand. It wasn't however this bad.
