Cardiff City loyal fans

Sat Dec 06, 2014 8:22 pm

I'm afraid that the only way the Cardiff support is going to go is down if they keep giving us performance like that crap today. I always try to look for positives and never be negative about anything about the team I support but even I am getting frustrated.
All I keep hearing lately from people is that they don't feel anything for City anymore and don't care if they win, lose or draw and I was only talking today to a few people before the game that I've started to feel like it's a chore to go and watch the City. In all honesty I feel very worried where the club I've always loved is heading for. I'm not usually the one to bring the rebrand up although I really hate it with a passion, I can't help thinking that all Vincent Tan has to do is reverse the rebrand and IMO things will turn around as the support will come back.
Opinions please.

Get the red shit out of the club and the dark clouds will be gone.
Thats the problem, the rebrand has ruined it all and killed our passion and soul.

Get us back to blue and just let us watch football and not have to think about being Wrexham.

We have an owner who thinks we are customers.

This is a guy who has no idea what it is to support a football team. Unlike other customers of other things we cannot go and support another club. The unwritten rule is that when you pick your team its for life. You become a supporters of that club regardless how much you spend on it be in every game or just the one. A supporters is there wanting the best for the club, you do not get that from a customer who will move on if they don't get want they want.

We have been degraded to customers by this idiot of an owner and that is why so many feel isolated from the club.

Our club is being murdered slowly before our eyes and our fans are having the life sucked out of them with all the shit that goes with this club. Can't remember the last time we had something to cheer about!!

Very good post mate and exactly as it is, it's not just the rebrand but the ludicrous comments and circus act around it. A return to blue wouldn't fix things over night but it would be a step on the right direction, sadly this won't happen under tans reign. He won't be here next year.

Great post. I've not been to a home game since the Stoke game. I used to live for my Saturday trips with my boys to ninian park and more recently the ccs. As an exile of over 25 years I find it heartbreaking at the state of the club. In dark days of Durban with crowds of 2000 I could only dream of seeing my beloved bluebirds in first division. When we did get there I did not enjoy it. Main reason was watching us at home to likes of arsenal, Liverpool and Man utd with us in red. It wasn't the cardiff City I could relate too.

Gareth, in over 40 years of supporting City I never thought that chore and Cardiff City would be in the same sentence but right now that's how I feel and it's rather sad. What is also sad is fellow fans on each others backs, I never thought I'd ever see the day that so many supporters of the same club be on different ends of the scale and that's not their fault but the fault of what has happened to our club behind the scenes which ultimately I believe is also affecting the team and it's performances.

How can Tan justify high season ticket increases. Its beyond me. It makes me angry.

I do not like to watch my beloved Cardiff playing in red, even if they are on the tv. Bring back our identity Tan or just sell up and piss off :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

It is quite simple, football is now a product to exploit, fans are products to exploit. To Tan we are customers at his burger bar.We should enjoy his product and fawn all over him for providing the aforementioned. In the middle of this are the players
drawing unrealistic salaries vis a vis their abilities and attitude. Some of these wankers are not even trying. If we had a Tony Pulis he would not tolerate such lethargy and would probably chin those that did not give 100%.Too many foreigners who do not have the same cultural passion as the Brits ponce around the top divisions not caring if they win or lose.Price increases after going down.........what is going on??????? As for the strip well he really doesn't get it neither does he care about those who do care.Take people for granted for too long and they walk, plain and simple. In his Asiatic Uber Capitalist mindset all that matters is money, yet he is not alone remember the scenes on Black Friday people trampling on one another to get 40% discount. The world had gone to hell in a handcart and football is just one recipient of such change
   football !!!!!
