A forum for all things Cardiff City

Just following the Devils v Giants game on the net (match night live). I realise it's not everyone's cup of tea but the entertainment is full on, the atmosphere is loud and passionate, the players from both sides are giving it everything, there's hits going in, fast skating, skill, a few fights and 1 goal so far (but guaranteed more).
Was just thinking it's got everything today's City game didn't have, City's crowds seem to be dwindling whilst the hockey games are nearly always sell outs now.
Did I go to the wrong game today?

No plastic mate, been supporting City since 1962

when aged 9 my Dad took me to my first game. I do like other sports though and will always support local sides unlike some who support teams from 200 miles up the M1.

Went to the All Ireland hurling final on September.86000 fans no segregation cracking atmosphere fast skilful players knocking lumps out of each other no backchat to the ref and no feigning injuries. And guess what , players don't get paid.Beggars belief that what I watched today probably cost a quarter of a million quid in wages for the week.Passionless and clueless.
