Another Shocking Performance

Sat Dec 06, 2014 5:50 pm

Let's be honest the performances have been dreadful over the last 3 games at least. We seem to be going backwards. Today we were totally outplayed by a team near the bottom of the league. They had the majority of the possession, played some de eat football and had ,it's of the chances.

That was a game that we should have list 4 or 5 nil. Our players all looked as if they had taken sleeping tablets. There was no energy, no speed and no desire to get forward. We could kit string two passes together. Taking a point ioff Rotherham was daylight robbery. We deserved nothing.

Some will say that it's all down to points but let's be honest who wants to go and watch a Vity performance like that week in week out. It now seems to be a regular thing.

Give Slade credit when he brought Kimbo in instead of Ralls but then in the match he seemed clueless. You got Daehli and Ravel on the bench, two players that could offer a lot more going forward. What was the point in bringing Ravel on for 6 mins? Just for Slade to say he gave him a game I suppose. Very disappointing.

As an entertaining spectacle the club seems to be dying, as does the support.

Agree we are dying. Cannot identify with the club atm

Agree, no atmosphere, dreadful performance. If we had faced a top team today as with the Reading match we would have been hammered. How Rotherham never won that game by 3/4 goals I will never know.

With regards to atmosphere the team on the pitch needs to give the fans something to sing about.

Yes, we were lucky to come away with a result. Unfortunately at the moment fans are giving too much credit to the results and are not looking at the overall performances. We have been dire in the last 3 games. The performances are going backwards. We came away with a result because in football flukes occur. We were battered by Watford and they deserved to win but they did not put the ball in the net.

For most of the game and all of the second half last week, yes, we were terribly poor.

Again, couldn't string two passes together, every second ball went to the much hungrier Watford players and we used up a whole season's worth of luck in winning that game.

Not only that but we were dire against Reading, anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. We have been poor game after game. We have had the luck on our side but once that runs out and we play decent teams we will be lambs to the slaughter. I hope that our form/performances can improve.
