Just before the start of the season I read a report from a number of pundits about who they thought would go up from the championship like.

When it came to us they all agreed our signings were below par, well below par. Not many on here then would have agreed but to me it looks like they are justified.

I won't point the finger at Slade as none of this is his squad. So far he has managed to steady the ship and improve things. Yes it was dire today but it was a lot worse under Ole who is going to go down as one of the worse managers in our history. Personally I feel Slade has earn't his chance to bring in his own players.

There's not one fan down the City today that expects us to be like Real Madrid. What they do expect though is a tiny bit of entertainment, a few passes & build up play & a lot of effort, passion & determination.
There was none of that today & rarely is.
