100%.... Was gutted when they moved on. Campbell would own defences in this league. When he first joined us his goals gave us the impetus we needed and he barely lasted 60 minutes a game due to a lack of fitness. A fully fit Campbell would score goals for fun in the Championship.

We had no choice as there was a relegation clause with a set fee in the contract Moody negotiated. Shame as I agree with the other posters, at Championship level Campbell was top draw.

To be fair even Glenn Hoddle made a comment to that extent after one of our TV games last season. Mainly raving about his running off the ball.

His touch was shit for us too. However, he scored crucial goals that helped us over the line for promotion. He's similar to Chopra, scores goals for fun in the championship but never got them very often in the premier league.

Campbell id like back although to be honest I always felt he performed better as a lone striker, when he had a partner his game seemed to drop, almost like he enjoyed the responsability of being the only focual point.

Same with Mutch, struggled badly I thought in a 4-4-2 at the start of the season when we bought him but then came to life in a 4-5-1 and was excellent in the prem.

As its 4-4-2 for us I dont think they would be the players we seen before
